she woke up the next morning with tears welling from her eyes, to her dismay, zayn wasn't beside her when she opened her eyes, he probably was away doing a special project for dean considering that dean trusted zayn more than anyone and everybody knew that he was his favorite.

the tearful girl got up from the bed, wiping her cold tears away from her face and trying her best to stop them. hopefully, the tears weren't arriving anymore.

wolf almost forgot that today was a training day and there was someone she needed to train, she was too clouded up with her thoughts about zayn she lost her mind already.

she rushed to her room, with a blank face and a swollen eyes to find calum and make sure he's awake.

the truth is, she didn't like to be seen crying, she retained a good image of her toughness and her undeniable strength.

"jesus christ, wolf!" calum snapped, moving his head away from the ceiling as soon as wolf entered the room.

"what?" wolf asked before finding her way to the mirror and combing her dark hair.

"what happened? your eyes-" calum sat up on the couch, he saw happened and knew what happened. he was feeling sorry for wolf but he didn't care to show it, calum was too frightened by the stand of the place and everyone it it. he didn't bother to show anything.

"it was none of your business, buttface." wolf muttered before tying her hair up again. "training starts today, by the way."

calum frowned but tried to shake it away, he wasn't much interested in killing people, he wanted to be home and find a way to go to college, it had been a dream for him, he was still mad about the fact that he would spend the rest of his life in a dark place with a girl who wasn't in mind of washing her hair daily.

"these are your new clothes." wolf threw a black bag to the boy, causing him to panic. the bag landed heavily on his lap, taking the adrenaline rush away.

calum unzipped the bag and pulled one shirt from it. it was a plain black shirt? plain black pants?

"plain black undies? holy shit." he exclaimed, before shutting himself up when wolf gave him a blank look.

"let's go. we shouldn't waste a second."

calum felt a sudden pain within his right leg, it made him flinched. after checking it out, he pulled out a scared emotion.

"what the fuck is this?" he asked, rubbing the little black material engraved on his skin.

"that's a tracking device, in case you ran away." wolf answered blankly, her eyes shifting to the boy's leg, "oh and you can just explode when dean pushed the button with your number by that little thing."

calum furrowed his eyebrow. "what the fuck?"

wolf flashed a little smile, "i also have that, don't worry."

"i don't understand, why are you so fond of this, wolf? you can just find a way to escape, right? you could've been a good person."

wolf let out a little chuckle and little did she know she found calum's statement a little funny. "we don't have a choice."

"why?"

"because we are born with it."

"with what?"

"that material, doctors planted it on babies as soon as they came out of the womb. well, a very few chosen babies, there is nothing you could do about it, calum. it is our reason." wolf explained, giving calum more light.

"why?"

"because, if the world runs out of us, then everything would be corrupted by fucking evil doers."

"wait, doesnt that makes you more like an evil doer?"

"what the hell, for once, run out of stupid questions, calum."

wolf opened the door and left.
