"luke!" calum shouted in surprise as a matter of fact, he was his bestfriend though they were too shy to admit it, people in school often mistaken them as two gay couples.
the whole place was filled up with several people in black clothes.
sitting down, luke opened his can of soda before speaking, "calum! im so glad you're not dead."
"dead?" calum raised an eyebrow, what was this boy talking about? he opened his can and took a sip from it.
the truth is, calum wished he was dead, he didn't want that kind of life. he didn't want to live in this place.
"nah, i'm just joking. oh my god, calum. i like it here. they'd teach you bad-ass stuffs plus my trainer is so hot. even her name is hot." luke blabbed. he wasn't usually this talkative.
calum was reminded of his trainer and made him look for her, he hated her personality, her swearing, her way of insulting everything, everything. he hated her.
"i hate my trainer, she thinks she is the greatest creature to ever set foot on earth." calum told luke and he got different kinds of glances from people around him.
"hi, luke!" a girl wearing shorts and black tank top approached them, her tattoos were exposed and they were mostly pink and black tattoos.
"fox!" luke turned red, his attention moved to the girl immediately from the spaghetti he was eating.
"do you like the food?" fox asked, giving the boys a premium look at her cleavage which made calum look away, unlike his friends, calum tended to give women respect because of the fact that he was a a momma's boy and he was really close to her sister.
"yeah, it's great." luke answered, trying to shift his eyes away from fox's cleavage but ultimately failed on his first attempt.
"this is calum, fox. fox, this is calum, he's my friend." luke introduced them to each other, by their faces, everyone could tell they weren't even interested at each other.
the two just gave each other a friendly nod.
"um, why are your names like that? fox? wolf?" calum had the nerves to ask fox about that, that question had been invading his mind ever since he got there. he even heard some names like- lynx, serpent and other more he couldn't seem to remember due to his deep thoughts.
"it's because dean doesn't like girl names. he's like our father and you know, he named us." the girl answered calum before going back to flirting with luke, the two kept on laughing and saying things to each other by whispering. calum shot them a little disgusted face.
"hi, i'm niall." a voice from behind was heard.
calum nodded as a friendly gesture, "i'm calum."
niall sat down beside the other boy, not to mention how friendly niall was, he was quite very popular and he cheered everything up.
"so what'd you think about this place?" niall asked, his head moving around from a direction to another.
"pretty odd, really." calum answered, switching his eye from luke who was flirting with fox to a man on the counter who was chopping a nasty-looking meat.
"you might think of that at first." niall said, shrugging. he took a bite of his green apple, which seemed unwashed.
"y'know, i barely opened my mouth on my first weeks here. i was very frightened by dean. he was my trainer. i felt like i missed my family too much. but it comes and it goes, you'd love this place. this is our reason." niall stated, there was something about him that made him look like a big brother to everyone. there was something certain about him.
this is our reason.
"what happened?" calum asked, still not touching his food.
"well, i got used to it. i realized this is my fate. i think of my family as a happy family now, i don't know if they noticed im gone. they'd probably be well without me." he said, smiling, niall has deep blue eyes and a friendly smile.
"but my case is completely different, you see, i should be off to college. i was about to board the plane." calum said disappointingly, his hand running across his black hair.
"we all are the same, calum. there is something about us that makes us the same. you'll love it here." niall stood up, with his apple left on the table.
