"remember what you told me like three months ago?" wolf stared at the boy. she had no idea that this boy would mean so much to her.
calum nodded, hoping that wolf would finally accept his offer. he couldn't picture himself with anyone else but wolf. he wasn't even sure if he ever loved anyone before because damn, the feeling was so new.
"well, i think i love you too calum." wolf said with a blank face, her heart beating so loud and fast again.
"so?"
"so?"
"do you want to be my-"
"yeah. but fuck it, i take it back. i just realized how ugly you look up close." wold said with a little laugh in between her words. "joking. yes, calum."
calum stood up with his heart on his chest, "it's beating so loud, wolf."
"mine too, calum."
"i can't believe it! are we really--" calum trailed off.
"do you think i'm shitting you?" wolf narrowed her eyes over the boy who was standing tall infront of her, standing up, she looked at him with a blank look.
"iloveyou." calum gave the girl a huge hug.
"i can't breathe, calum." wolf muttered, their height difference was really getting in the way.
"am i squeezing you too tight?"
"no. it means i love you too." wolf said, still not letting go of the hug.
"oh."
"yes."
the two stood there at the lonely playground, hugging each other for two minutes or more.
letting go, wolf cleared her throat. "where's frosty?" she said to release the awkwardness between them.
"probably getting ladies." calum answered, looking around. he didn't feel any awkwardness at all, it was something that he'd like to remember for the rest of his life.
he felt more real, the thing he was feeling was real. he never felt that way for nelly or cassidy or amanda. he found something in wolf that he didn't do in any other girl in his school or the mall. wolf was completely different from them. she was nothing like anyone.
the two laughed, finding their way back to abandoned warehouse with their hands placed in each others' hips.
"hey love?"
"don't call me love, calum."
"i can call you whatever i want, baby." calum said, slowly stroking wolf's hair. "i'm actually your boyfriend, now."
"whatever." the girl said as she tried to concentrate writing something on her paper.
poetry was something she couldn't get away from. she only wrote when she was inlove or broken. this time, calum was her reason.
"what are you writing?"
"nothing."
"is it about me?"
wolf hid the paper under the drawer, "shut up, calum."
she wasn't much good in showing or telling people that she loves them. zayn had taken that away from her. poetry was her only way of saying what she really felt.
the day went on very fast, the fact that calum got his own room made it weird for him to sleep in another room because wolf's sleeping noises had become his lullaby. he didn't even spend a night in his room because of the loneliness that was causing him to think of his family, which was disappearing slowly.
after a few attempts to ask questions and get answers, the two fell asleep in separate beds, still thinking of each other
