calum tried to follow wolf but he knew that she needed time to think and following her would only worsen the situation. this was completely new to him, they had never fought over a girl before and importantly, wolf had never been jealous over anyone before.

calum didn't know what to do but he was aware that lauren was a human too, what he didn't understand was why did she have to be like calum?

calum, luke and lauren went outside for a little talk although calum was getting really nervous, he was worried about wolf-she was nowhere to be seen.

"look, lauren. i'm sorry if this hurts you," calum started, "but-i really don't see myself with you anymore, the truth is that girl, the one who yelled at the eating room, she is amazing and," calum cleared his throat "she makes me feel."

lauren began to wipe the tears flowing from her eyes, "but calum, you told me you love me more than anyone else and that you'd marry me someday, what happened to that?"

"somethings change, lauren. i'm sorry. but i need to clear this out." calum responded, looking at the ground.

he didn't even feel something anymore when he was talking to lauren. compared to what he felt for wolf-it was merely nothing.

his feelings for wolf was like a paper with perfect abstract lines and unexplainable shapes and figures and what he felt for lauren was a paper with barely a dot, an invisible dot.

luke was rubbing lauren's back as she continued to cry, "it's okay, lauren."

"can i give you one last hug?" lauren requested, her eyes were very wet.

calum pulled her for a little and short hug. he was happy that lauren didnt get too clingy, he was pleased because lauren was too tough to understand and face the fact.

too far gone, calum realized what he could do for wolf, he might even kill himself for her-that was the kind of love they had.

"do you remember when calum cried over his cake plops? it was because the saleslady gave him another flavor." luke said to lighten up the aura of the situation, laughing after.

"come on, luke. give me a break, i was twelve back then." calum rolled his eyes, looking at his watch and was surprised to find that it was almost two pm.

"but- twelve year olds don't cry over cake plops, calum." luke replied, throwing his head back while he laughed. "i can't believe you did that."

calum shook his head with a grin although he was not feeling embarrassed at that moment.

"calum, is she nice?" lauren asked, she was obviously referring to wolf.

calum swallowed when he heard this, a lump on his throat signified the kind of feeling he had when wolf crossed his mind.

"she's nothing like anyone." was all calum could say.

the girl cleared her throat, she was looking pained. she was really passionate about calum but she cheated on him because she felt really lonely when calum went missing.

"i'm glad." lauren replied while she tucked a strand of her hair into her ear.

"i need to leave you guys, alone. i have something to do." calum retorted as he stood up from his seat.
