what calum said, had forced wolf's face to form a smile and she pursed her lips as a poor attempt to cover it up.

"say something!" calum broke the filthy silence, unsure whether to take it back or let it be.

"oh calum. that was very romantic. but- i'm still confused about what i feel about you, my body wants to have you by my side, always. but my brain wants to kick you in the balls, everyday." she laughed a little then pursed her lips to keep a serious face. "i think i love you too, calum. but today, it's not the perfect day to talk and rant about it."

--

this had been what calum said to be the most beautiful and lucky day of his life.

long weeks and months had passed and calum learned more about wolf more than he ought to. he found out she had this bad habit of biting her nails, she suffered with insomnia and how she loved color black, the way her eyes were two pure mixture of gray and brown.

like him, wolf had found out many things about him. he was a compulsive smoker but he quit it for his girlfriend, well, maybe ex-girlfriend. he did well with mathematics, he could play the guitar and he had the sweetest singing voice. this made wolf fall even more harder than she believed she did.

they were falling in love but they decided not to talk about it, they were too embarrassed to say anything about their feelings or express that they were thinking about each other at night even when they were sleeping in the same room and they were together the whole day.

during free days, they'd go to the mall to watch movies or eat.

calum knew that wolf had this weird hatred for ketchup and calum loved ketchup more than anything in this world.
they found out things about themselves they didn't know that even exist. many things about them were different, but they had similarities like their love for rock music and their longing to always be somewhere else.

their love for dogs made them closer, especially their very own, frosty.

"did you ever think of leaving this place, wolf?"

"ugh, of course, i did. multiple times." wolf answered with disappointment for herself.

she spent her life here and maybe will end it here, too. she did nothing but this. her life had been rotating this stupid place.

"did you entertain it?" calum asked again, unlike before, wolf wasn't being bugged when calum asked her stupid questions.

"no." wolf pouted, a kind of expression which she got from calum, they were always together they could've exchanged faces.

"why?"

"i was afraid of what'll happen to me. i could just die with a little push." she responded, looking at the shadow of her right hand she had been playing for an hour or two.

"you could just steal it from dean, right?" calum asked which resulted wolf to give him a little bugged look.

"it's locked somewhere, i don't know. i never got any glance of it. he sleeps with it, maybe." wolf laughed, rotating her hand and being fascinated by the figures it had formed.

"i haven't seen zayn for awhile." calum changed the subject after laughing so hard.

"me neither. he's probably doing one of those private missions for dean, again." wolf replied, blankly. her hands now resting on the bed.

calum produced a pissed sound, he still didn't get the idea of doing missions, why couldn't these people let fate and karma be in charged with those evil people? after doing a couple missions and gradually accomplishing them, he still didn't catch the logic behind it.

he was about to ask those questions but he felt like he was being stupid for asking stupid questions over and over again. he couldn't run out of questions and that was his major problem.

"it's weird as fuck." was all he could say before saying goodnight and questioning himself to sleep.
