DEATH IS NOT AN OPTION!

"You two hold it right there!" Sheriff Gaplin yelled towards Xavier and Wednesday.

The outburst caused both of them to stop for a moment.

"Now you two think I'm the anti christ, but I'm just looking to avoid another big mess on our hands, so just take a seat and if everything you're telling is true we'll get the facts sorted."

Wednesday and Xavier still stood towards the door. Xavier was not happy at all about the Sheriff's earlier comment's about Wednesday.

"If you don't wanna cooperate that's fine and I'm sorry about the earlier comments, but put yourself in my position. Imagine if that was one of your daughters, and tell me how you'd be acting."

Wednesday eyed Xavier basically saying it was his call. Xavier stared at Gaplin for a moment, and he could not only see it, but he could feel the pain he was harboring.

"Alright fine, we'll cooperate, but no more insults on my girlfriend."

Wednesday's eyes widened at being called Xavier's girlfriend, but she remained silent.

"So what do you wanna know kid, I'm an open book." Enid said looking over to Miracle who looked disinterested.

"The ending to my novel, but that won't be accomplished since I'm sitting on the couch and not in my mother's comfortable bed."

Enid sighed throwing her hands up playfully.

"I'm sorry Miracle, you're required to love me. No exceptions."

Miracle rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Am I going to have to really ask questions to get out of this?"

"YES. YOU. ARE." Enid spoke emphasizing each word.

Miracle conceded and sighed. "Ok then, what was it like surviving the Hyde of 22', did you almost die?"

Enid's eyes widened at the question. She remained a bit shocked.

"Wow.... did not expect that one. Well I won't mince words, it was the most terrifying experience of my life. I don't know when I was more scared, when I was fighting the Hyde or when I waited at the gates hoping and praying... that my best friend would emerge from the Massacre."

Miracle looked shocked at the words coming from Enid. Enid taking notice grabbed the girls hand.

"Look Miracle I know you see how I am with Rose, and I want you to know right now that I'm your Aunt Enid just as much as I am with Roses. You can always be yourself, because in case you forget my best friend is your mother and you're almost like the carbon copy of her."

Miracle could only stare in awe and slightly blush as the words came from Enid.

"Thank you Aunt Enid, really. Sometimes it feels like Rose and her cheery and outgoing personality take all the air and sometimes I feel like I'm suffocating-."

Xavier and Wednesday looked at each other then back at Gaplin shaking their head.

"I know you're a bit of an investigator yourself Addams, what have you got?"

"I have nothing, your killers clean this time, because they know what I'm capable of. You'll have to catch this killer on your own and fast, because when it comes to my kids and my... boyfriend-" Wednesday stood out her seat eyeing the man seriously.

"Death is not an option."
