It's only been a day and while things may appear normal with Wednesday and Xavier, Wednesday is slowly losing it.
"Did you hear what I said Nes?" Xavier asked lifting his head from where it was resting on Wednesday's legs.
"No, I zoned out, my apologies what were you saying?"
"No, what's going on Wednesday, we've gotta communicate, I can't have you going rogue again when we're in this together." Xavier said sitting up looking her in her eyes.
"It's nothing, Xavier." Wednesday deadpanned making a move to get up.
Wednesday made a move to get up, bur Xavier grabbed on to her waist holding her in place.
"Xavier release me."
"Wednesday talk to me."
"Xavier I don't like repeating myself."
"So that's what you're gonna resort to Wednesday... I'm not asking you to change baby but can't we lead with love and trust when it comes to each other?"
"But Xavier..."
Xavier released his grip and started to get up. "You know what Wednesday, it's fi-."
"I'm scared."
Xavier froze and stopped his words. "What did you say?"
"I'm scared Xavier, someone's out there that tried to kill my baby and then my baby." Wednesday said looking at Xavier lovingly.
Xavier said nothing he just wrapped Wednesday in a really tight hug that made her body tense up before relaxing.
"Thank you." Xavier said into her hair as he kissed the top of her head.
"For?"
"Feeling."
Wednesday adjusted her face to face Xavier's and began to lean. Xavier picking up on her action also leaned as well and before they knew it, the sparks begun. Their lips connected for what wasn't even close to the first time, but it always felt special like the first for the couple.
Wednesday and Xavier kissed for a little over a minute before he broke for air.
"Some make out session, you have the lungs of a normie with asthma."
"I'll show you a normie..." Xavier said as he quickly tried to lean back in to which he was instantly DENIED!
"Xavier there's someone out there who wanted you dead and our daughter dead and until I catch the bastard that's all the sugar you'll be getting."
"Oh no it's high school all over again... you secretly like it don't you?" Xavier asked teasingly.
"If it was 15 years ago I would've said yes in s heartbeat, but with my kids and my man being put in danger it just scares the living hell out of me."
Xavier said nothing but blushed.
"Somebody attempted to murder you Xavier... and as long as I'm alive, they won't get away with it.
The killer was in the shadows as they became a victim of Wednesday's trail.
