"Alright guys, see ya tomorrow." I clap hands with Chris after the bell rings. We get up from the table and walk out of the meal room.

Leaving the CC, we separate into our cells.

When I get to mine, Kat's already in it. There's an emptiness to the room.

Kat flops down on her blanket-less bed as I look up at mine. Then I realise my blanket's gone too.

Finding the whole thing humorous, I duck my head out of the cell. "You really need to stop giving your guards coffee!" I shout towards the Chief's office.

Kat's sigh brings me back to the cell. I climb the ladder to my bed. Resting my head on the pillow, I finally feel what Kat felt last night. The wind blows through the open window of the cell, causing me to shiver.

"You can come up here," I say, looking up at the concrete ceiling.

"What, you don't have a blanket," she mumbles, obviously still angry at me.

"But our body heat will be the warmest thing we can get."

"Well..." she says. "Why don't you come down here?"

I grin. "Because heat rises, babe."

Hearing her sigh, I inwardly high-five myself as I know she's given in.

I make room on the bed just as her head pops up from the ladder. Looking anywhere but at me, she lies down on the mattress, hugging herself from the cold.

"Come on," I encourage. "Come closer."

She contemplates what she feels would be the best thing to do, considering she's still mad. I smile as she moves closer so our bodies are touching. I shuffle my shirt up and over my head.

Kat puts her head up. "What are you doing?"

"I'm just giving you more warmth."

"But you'll be cold."

I lick my lips. "Well...if you took off your top..."

"No," she says almost immediately, resting her head against the pillow again, closing her eyes.

I have nothing but love for this girl.

I curl an arm around her so she snuggles up to my chest, her hands pushed against her body.

Okay, it's been fun but time for her to love me again.

I muster up all my feelings for her in one kiss to the forehead.

"I'm sorry, Kat."

Her thick lashes flutter up as she opens her eyes and looks at me.

"I shouldn't have asked you to do that. I didn't mean to offend you."

She looks adoringly at me. "It's okay. I'm sorry too. I might've overreacted."

"I love you," I whisper against her hair.

She cuddles up even closer, if it were possible, to my chest. "I love you too."

Then to my surprise, she sits up and takes off her shirt. She puts her arms around me. "Are you sure this will make you warm?"

"Yeah."

She kisses me and I feel the need to kiss back harder. We haven't kissed for ages.

Her movements fill me up with pleasure and I can't help but get tingles at the feeling of her lips.

"I've missed this," I mumble against her lips.

"Mmm, me too." She kisses my jawline.

I huddle up with her, the wind attacking us harshly.
