Alice pov:
I feel absolutely ecstatic that i am able to pick up my sweet little one! Yet my mind still keeps on wandering back to our sweet Jasper who is still fast asleep at home. And even thought Edward promised to call the second anything should change, it feels wrong to not be by his side in his time of need. I however also know that he would feel even worse if he finds out we left our little mate alone to instead be by his side.
Thats also why i offered right away to pick our darling up. Rosalie and Emmet also quickly agree to accompanie me, which i am rather thankful for.
The wide smile of hers instantly falls as she gets in the car and realizes that her Jasi wasn't there. Her fingers right away start to play with her bracelet as she swirls it around in uncertanty.
„Jasper is still fast asleep. That's why Carlisle suggested it would be best to let him sleep till he wakes up by himself." Rosalie softly explains as she slowly lays her hand on Mias. Thankfully this seems to calm her down a bit, still her worry is now openly to see on her beautiful  face.
„Edward and Jane promised to call if something should change, so why didn't they?" she asks a bit hurt that they indeed broke their promise to her. Her eyes water as my heart breaks even further for my little darling.
„Hey shorty, Edward surely would of called if something should have changed, but nothing did. Jasper is perfectly save and fast asleep still. I am certain he only didn't text or call you since he didn't want to worry you any further. After all, nothing did change so please don't be mad at Edward." emmet soothingly explains. All of us indeed frightened that this might damage the bond those two already created. Even if we may be a bit jelouse that we arent as close already with our newly found mate, none of us wants to damage or break a Bond. After all, we are all mates and need all of us to truly feel whole and happy.
Mia seems to think a while about what she just got told before she shakes her head slowly. Seemingly understanding, at least i do hope so! Just than her Phone pings with a new message, a heavy sigh leaves her lips as she pulls her Phone out of her pocket and reads it quietly as a small smile forms on her kissable lips.
„It's from Edward, letting me know that Jasy is still peacefully asleep and that he will stay by his side to make sure he is alright. He also says he will keep me updated and that i wont need to worry." she lets us know as her cheeks flush oh so alluringly.
„He also added a picture of Jasy fast asleep." she adds even quieter while still smiling lovingly at her Phone. My guess is, still studying Jaspers picture with absolut adoration and Love in her eyes.
„That's quite nice of him and i am sure he will keep us all posted throughout the day." i say and smile at her through the rear view mirror.
„We also only have five classes today since they have teacher conference, so thats Perfect timing as well." Rosalie adds and seems to completely surprise mit little one with that tid bit of Information. Her confused face instantly lets us know that she had cero knowledge of this fact. When Emmet asks her if she was alright she only nods her head in reply.
„Can we stop at the store before we head on to your home?" Our darling mate asks suddenly all shy. To be honest it kind of confuses me of what she might need, but since i don't want her to not have everything she needs or simply wants i nod my head quickly in agreement.
„Or, you tell us what you need and we ask Esme to go get it while we are in School. She already told us that she wants to make you some lunch for after school, so if you want something specific, i am certain she will be over the moon happy to prepare that instead." Rosalie says with an encoraging smile. Once again my sweet little mate looks stunned at us. Seemingly not believing what we just told her, nor that Esme indeed planed on preparing food for her.
„But, she really doesn't need to do that. I am more than fine with simply picking up an apple for lunch." she States with uncertanty and sheer astonishment that we even offer something like that. Her right hand yet again starts to fiddle with her bracelet, something she seems to do whenever she gets nervous or she doesn't know what to make out of the Situation she is in.
„Don't be silly shorty. Esme has been beaming in excitement ever since she started to plan on what to cook and what you might enjoy eating." Emmet informs her with a chuckle at the thought alone how excited Esme truly was. She has been looking through thousend of recepies, trying to find the ones she was certain our newly found mate will enjoy the most.
„That's really nice of her, but i don't want to inconvenience her, or any of you, any more as i already am." she whispers shamefully. Honestly breaking my heart with her small voice and the open fear that's so easily detectable to hear and see on her face. When Rosalie once again lifts her hand to lay back on top of hers, she suddenly shrieks back a bit. Terrified she would get slapped for even daring saying her mind. Her whole body trembles in utter panic, her eyes wide and fearful.
The loud ringing of a Phone breaks all our shocked state. By now we are already parked at the school which is good, this after all is what allows me to turn fully back to my beloved mate.
„Hello." my mates trembling voice asks into her Phone. Her sudden stiffness somehow vanishes within seconds like someone spoke a spell. It at least seems like magic since she just now was an absolut wreck.
„Jasy." she sighs. An immens calmness overtakes her whole being, which we all are absolutely thankful for. Seeing her this frightened from us, her own mates, truly shattered not only my soul of that i am certain.
