Edwards pov:
After Jane and i were absolute certain that my Sweet Angel indeed was deeply asleep again, we know it's finally time to let the others know what exactly is going on. Since i however still am way too worried about my Sweet boy to even think of leaving him here with only Jane by his side, i instead ask her to please lend me her Phone to call my other mates instead of going out to them.
It only rings once before i hear all their voices shout out question after question. Not giving me the chance to answer even one of them. After waiting a bit longer, carlisle seems to realize that i wont answer anything if they keep acting like lunatics and decideds to intervene.
„Quiet! I want answers and we wont get any if you wont shut up!" he growls out.
The reaction is instant as everyone falls silent, which i am certainly thankful for!
„Thanks." i reply with a Heavy sigh. All their shouting honestly irritated me quit a bit, it after all was all their anger beforehand that made my sweet boy panic. So hearing them still behaving and acting like earlier makes me even more prone to not let them anywhere near him any time soon.
„First things first, Jasper is doing ok. He currently is peacfully sleeping and before any of you ask, no idea how that is even possible. My guess is that his prior panic attack exhausted him enough to crash his system." i explain as i once again hear my other mates along with the volturis start to murmer questions all over again. But one angry quiet once again shuts them up.
„What do you mean with his panic attack?" carlisle wants to know with urgency. Surely trying to put two and two together in the hope of figuring out whats happening with our Darling.
„When you all got back down, he seemed to get overwhelmed with all of your negativ emotions, which sadly triggered him into a panic attack. Which is also why i made quick work to get him away from all of you." i slowly explain, not knowing how to put the traumatic Situation we had not too long ago into words.
„Our Angel must of felt it somehow, since she suddenly woke up and right away tried to help him calm back down. When he finally did minutes later, he shortly after fell asleep under my Angels coaxing." i go on since they stayed quiet for once.
„Speaking of, you need to make sure you don't forget to go and pick her up before school. I simple have no idea how long Jasper will stay asleep before waking up again. But i know he will feel awful if we forget our promise to his little love over our worry for him." i say. Certain he will feel like a burden and like a failur of a mate, which is nonsense, but my Sweet boy sadly always thinks he is at fault.
„i will go and call my brothers to ask them if they ever heard of anything like this happen ever before. Maybe this will at least help us figure out how long your sweet boy will need to rest afterwards." Marcus says after everyone stays silent. Seemingly trying to make Sense of what i just told them.
„Do you think it's ok if i come in? I wont intrude or further agitate Jasper, i promise. I simple would like to look him over." carlisle asks hesitantly. Guess he is afraid that i will reject him right away without thinking further into his question. Instead of answering him right away, i look towards my still sleeping mate. Trying to figure out whats best for him. On one side it surely would be best to let a doctor look him over, but what if this overwhelmes him yet again? I am not sure if i would be able to forgive myself if he panics yet again, simply because i allowed carlisle to come in.
„Edward? I think it's a good idea to let him come in. None of us even heared of a vampire exhausted enough to fall asleep, not that we overlook anything." Janes soft voice says as she keeps on Holding Jaspers hand protectively.
„Yeah, you are right. Thanks Jane." i whisper. Still Not too certain, yet knowing it's the safest option we have right about now.
„Only you thought. I really don't want to overwhelm him again." i instruct over the Phone. Waiting to hear everyone agreeing to my prior demand, only then do i walk to the door and unlock it to let him in. To my surprise, the others even moved to the other side of the hallway as if afraid i otherwise will change my mind. They all look worried, yet they seem to try to calm themselves enough to not frighten our sweet mate yet again.
„Come in." i sigh heavily and wave Carlisle in. The second his eyes fall onto our mate still laying peacefully on the bed, he immediately hurrys towards him. Before he however touches him, he once again looks towards me as if questioning for any sort of hesitance from my side.
„Its ok." i whisper and to further show him that i indeed am fine, take a seat opposit of Jane. Wanting my boy to know that we are here for him and that we wont leave him alone at all times.
My eyes keep trained on carlisle as he slowly looks my baby boy over. When he suddenly stops, i quickly sit up straight in fear what he might of found.
„Don't worry Edward, Jasper seems to be perfectly healthy. It's just hard to see him like that." carlisle sighs and softly caresses my Boys cheek lovingly.
„He seems so unbelievable fragile like this." he adds even quieter, to which i simply nod my head in agreement. It's true after all, he looks so small and defenseless like this. Making me even more protective of my sweet boy than i already am.
„Hopefully Dad can find out some new details about Jaspers state from Aro or Caius. Maybe they heared or even have seen something like this before." Jane whispers as to not disturb our own thoughts on that matter.
„That would certainly be appreciated for sure." carlisle sighs wishfully.
„For now it however seems like a good idea to make it as comfortable as possible for him." he adds to which i once again agree to.
