Chapter Seventy: I Approve
The 1st hour went by well.
There wasn't much to do on a 3 hour long flight. There was a lot of wiggling, an inevitable crying toddler somewhere in the back and constant swallowing so that your eardrums don't act funny.
Also I was prepared to listen to music all the way through the flight.
My seat was in between Vanessa and Mia. Vanessa constantly looked behind to endlessly baby-talk Sam. It was cute but sometimes became insufferable which lasted not long because they fell asleep soon.
Jayden was right behind me beside Sam and ... I may have wanted to speak but I knew it would be in vain and I wouldn't find anything to talk about anyway.
Austin was beside Jayden's seat, asleep from staying up all night. Most of us, Mom, Dad, Greg and Charlotte included- were asleep. I was awake. And Mia beside me who constantly giggled, texting Eliot.
Well everything was going splendid.
Except, from the adrenaline all throughout boarding and having chased by Austin's dad's house securities... I hadn't realized how full my bladder was.
And it was becoming problematic.
I glance at Mia who kept silently giggling. I scowled. "Imbecile."
She glanced at me and stuck her tongue out.
I uncomfortably shifted, closing my legs together. I hadn't seen anyone by far going to the bathroom so far.
I texted my dad.
Me: Dad how long's it gonna take for us to reach?
I heard the ping that went on in his phone in two rows in front of us. The message was seen immediately but the reply came a few minutes later.
Dad: 👍
I groaned and texted back.
Me: Dad!!
Dad: ??
Me: Read my question!!
Dad: 2 more hours
I bit my lip, shaking my legs. In no way I was going to the bathroom, walking between all these people. Jayden. I cannot go to the bathroom infront of Jayden
No way.
I try to breath normally, to squirm, trying to sit in a way so I felt the urge less.
Shit...
I must've been too obvious in my shenanigans cause Mia frowned beside me. "You okay?"
Then she whispered in my ear. "I have pads, need one?"
I shook my head, stilling. "Nope. Thanks though."
She nodded, going back to giggling in her phone.
I start to nervously play with my fingers.
I have to go.
I can't.
I really have to go.
I can't it's too embarrassing!
I swallow, looking behind me, careful to avoid Jayden. Everyone in the plane was some sort of awake and I cursed myself.
I can't can't can't.
After twisting for another few minutes, when I felt like I was about to give it up, but decided last minute that I had to save my face, I stood up, closing my eyes so I didn't have to see anything on my way there.
