Luke's P.O.V

I sat on the couch, watching soccer minding my own business while Michael slept like a kitten on the other side of the sofa, Ash was out with Anne and they've been spending almost everyday together. They were inseparable and I hated it. Mainly the ideas of couples being in love or staying together too long sickened me.

The team I was rooting for unfortunately lost so I shut the television off in annoyance. I tapped my fingers against the sofa. My arms were spread out and my legs were stretched out in front of me, resting on top of the glass coffee table. My phone buzzed and once I saw the caller I.D I grinned to myself then got up quietly to talk somewhere private.

After reaching a secure-looking place, I picked up the call.

"What's up?" I asked.

'Bad news.'

my stomach turned and I immediately felt nervous.

"What is it now? What happened? Tell me every single detail."

'He saw her today.'

He couldn't of have.

"Him? As in you-know-who? Are you sure it was him? Positive-"

'Yes, I'm not stupid Luke. You sent me like almost a hundred pictures of the guy.'

"Don't use that attitude towards me." I clenched my teeth.

'So- er- what do I do now?'

I paused for a moment.

"You stay them away from each other, do you hear me?" I almost shouted into the phone.

'Yeah- yeah i got it.'

"Good. Your next pay is in three days, but your ass isn't going to be paid if you don't do what I ask."

*phone call ends*

I turned around and saw Ashton walking around the corner with Anne, he was smiling at her then faced me with an unpleasant frown. I gave an awkward wave to Anne and she happily returned it, Ash whispered something into her ear and she nods slowly, then gives me an uncomfortable look.

"What did you say to her?" I hollered, walking over to them.

Anne looks down at her & Ashton's hands interlocking.

"Nothing of your concern." Ashton replied, rather rudely.

I walked away from the drama and called up Sabrina to plan our dinner date at a private restaurant.

Tatiana's P.O.V

The ride in the car was dead silent. The radio was the only thing that was keeping me sane. I felt like I could break at any moment. Why did he reappear in my life? Why is he even here? What does he want?

Jace slowly parks at our house and he gets out the car to my side, opening the door for me like the gentleman he's always been. He wraps an arm around my waist and guides me to our front door, unlocking it with his nimble hands. I make my way to the couch to sit on it. Jace follows along and sits with me on the couch, I look up at him to see his charming face. He was nothing like Calum. But I wasn't complaining.

"How come you've never told me about your ex?" he asks out of the blue.

I always dreaded this moment to come.

"I didn't think mentioning him was important.." I spoke, softly.

"Well.. I think it's important to let your inner feelings out for once.." he convinces me and I nuzzle my head into his chest, feeling safe. But, not the safe that I've felt before with Calum. It was a different type of safe.
