ch.12: "the first date"

Calum's P.O.V

I woke up extra early to plan this perfect date.

Exactly 3 A.M.

I'm crazy for this girl. I've always been crazy for her, I was just too scared to admit. But now I know I got her in my hands.

No 'Prince' will interrupt us this time.

I rushed to get a giant 7 ft teddy bear from Raley's, it was a color of light beige with a red huge bow tied to the neck. I also got her some sour patch kids, her favorite kind of candy.

After that, I drove fastly down to my house to get ready. My mind was too cluttered and over-excited to think of an outfit so I called Mali to help pick out an outfit of the day. She chose a white button up, black skinny jeans and all black converse. I gave her a disgusted face since I barely wore any other color than black, this resulted in her punching me on the arm.

"My little boy is growing up!" Mum barged into the room, attacking me.

I groaned & hugged her back. Mali joined in by taking embarrassing pictures of me.

I finally escaped the monster hug & rushed out the door to take my girl out on a date.

Tatiana's P.O.V

I heard heavy footsteps coming towards the end of my bed. I already knew it was Michael so I groaned.

"Michael, I know what time it is! Leave me alone!"

I got a scoff in return, making me open one of my eyes to reveal Rhea in Michael's oversized shirt.

"Sadly I'm not Michael.. Anyways, did you know he's really good in bed? Better than Calum to be honest." she purred, making me feel disgusted.

"Get the hell out my room!" I sat up in my bed, pointing my finger at the open door.

She shrugged then got up & left, but before she can leave, she responded "Calum will be mine again. Watch your back, bitch."

I ignored the harsh words & decided to go to my closet. I checked the weather, it was going to be a pretty mild day.

The weather said 75 degrees so I chose a casual black v-neck tee, high waisted american apparel pants & beige TOMS.

I decided to cake on a few pounds of makeup. After that, I put on some gold bracelets & a simple gold looking necklace. My phone buzzed, I quickly checked it to see a notification from Calum.

'Ready princess? xx.'

My heart pounded as I walked downstairs to say goodbye to my mum & dad.

"Stay careful!" they both said, as I walked outside, locking the door behind me.

I turned around to see Calum sitting on the porch, with a bag of sour kids.

I gasped & rushed over to him. He quickly spun around, looking excited.

"You look... beautiful." Calum looked at me head to toe, his eyes were wide, full of excitement.

"You look handsome, as always." I kissed his cheek, making him blush & look down at the ground.

I've always loved that trait of his.

"Are we off my majesty?" he held out his hand, then interlocked it with my hand.

As we got to his car, a huge teddy bear was in the back seat. I couldn't stop smiling. This boy knew me too well.

"Why are you so happy?" he asked me holding back a smile.

"Well I don't know, you tell me." I giggled, then opened the door to his car.

He started the car then played some music on the radio, and drove off.

"Where are we going?" I asked, looking out of the window, curious.

"Remember, it's a secret.." he smirked evilly, continuing to drive.

I shrugged & took out my phone to take snapchats with him as he drove.

We took some funny snapchat videos of us lip-syncing to 1D and this band called 5SOS.

"Do you know this band? They sound really good." I referred to the so-called band named 5SOS on the radio, playing a song named Disconnected.

"Nope, not really. Do you like the song?" he smiled at me, showing his adorable cheeks.

"I like it. It feels like as if it was dedicated to someone. I love the vibe of it also." I said, thoughtfully.

"Nice to hear that." he looked happier, when I spoke my opinion.

We finally stopped at a movie theatre

"Don't be disappointed yet my love. This is only the first obstacle! We have like five more to go." He takes my hand & pulls us both inside the movie theatres.

He already had the whole thing literally planned out. Nachos & popcorn were our snacks & as for the drink, we just shared a XL Cola. I didn't mind. We've always been sharing a drink ever since we were five.

We watched the movie 'The Fault In Our Stars' which made me tear up alot, but Calum had his arm wrapped around me the whole time, rubbing his hand on my back each time I'd wipe away my tears.

"You really think this is sad?" he whispered into my ear.

I laughed silently & nudged him. After the movie was over, we both stretched & made some weird dinosaur noises. Before we could leave the theatre, I stopped us..

"WAIT- The photo booth is a must!" I jumped, pointing at the photo booth.

"ON-WARDS!" Calum ran with me, rushing into the photo booth.

The space was too small so I sat on his lap, I was too short for the seats anyways.

As we pulled away, I didn't feel the guilt I felt like before.

It was awkward for a few seconds till I shrugged & hopped off his lap to get the photos. He followed me, I gave him a strip of the photos then took his hand and ran out the theatre.

"Where to now, my princess?" he did a funny, formal bow to me, making me giggle like crazy.

"Take me anywhere, my prince." I folded my hands behind my back, feeling myself blush.

He looked up with such a caring smile & took my hand. Off we go on another adventure..

I'll be updating 'Redlight' when I get more votes/comments on it :)

I would like to finish this story first. Probably around chapter 45 atleast. So about 33 chapters!

It's going to be a long wayy there!
