ch. 32: "lets get away"

Tatiana's P.O.V

After another five days without Calum has passed by, he was finally on break with his band and soccer. All we had to worry about was school, I helped him catch up on most of the assignments, giving him my work for some of his classes and tutoring him. Spring break was coming near and everyone including me were very excited.

"So, what are we going to do this spring break?" Sabrina asked, smirking while sipping her strawberry-banana shake that she had made earlier.

"I have no plans." Anne sighed, slowly sinking in her seat as she tries to text Ash secretly.

"Neither do I." I stared at a blank space, causing a long silence.

*ding*

"I'll get it!" Sabrina squealed, hurriedly rushing over to the front, opening the door.

I heard familiar voices and my face started to brighten up as four dorks walked into the living room.

"BABE!" Calum smiled, running over to me and jumping on the couch, making me almost fall off.

"ANNE!" Ashton smiled, walking over to Anne who was curled up in a ball on the other side of the couch.

"So, are we okay?" Luke questioned Sabrina, lifting her head up to kiss her on the nose.

"What are you talking about? We were always okay." Sabrina said, confusingly.

Luke mumbled something into her ear and she pulled away, smiling and nodding then hugged him tightly, making me feel something inside.

"Wait- why are we here?" Michael's voice echoed, making us laugh at his loneliness, "Well fuck you all. I know I don't have a girlfriend but atleast I don't have my balls tied around a woman's hands."

"Oh shut up, you have Rhea." Luke teased, making Michael smirk.

"She's a bitch." he laughed, "Besides, wasn't Rhea, originally Calum's?"

I shifted uncomfortably in Calum's arms and he tightens his grip around me and ignores the question that Michael had just rudely asked.

"Shut up the both of you!" Sabrina rolled her eyes then sat on Luke's lap on one of the chairs.

I snuggled into Calum more closer and sniffed in his fresh scent, and relaxed a bit. "I called all of you idiots here to say that.. We are all going away from this trash town for a week and going to Hawaii!"

"Holy shit." Michael's jaw dropped and he was cheering all over the place.

"What are you so excited for?" Calum snapped, obviously annoyed at the idea that Michael was coming along with us.

"Have you seen the chicks there dude? Their all going to be in bikini's! Oh yeah, Tati you better hold onto your man when we land in Hawaii, the women there compared to you is like comparing Amanda Bynes to Beyonce." Michael laughed, taking a slice of the last pizza that we had ordered earlier.

"You best shut the fuck up." Ashton blurted out, looking furious, while Calum on the other hand was thinking deeply, his arms were still around me and his chin was resting on top of my head.

"We are leaving in three hours! Now pack up!" Sabrina ordered, and everyone literally scrammed out of the house and drove to their own houses.

When I got to my house, Michael has already beaten me there, we were racing on the way home, luckily no cops were around to witness our high speeding.

Mom and Dad were both in the living room, arguing about something. They would argue on/off but me and Michael tended to ignore it since we both knew they would always make up the next day.

I got into my room and grabbed a black jansport and a large lavendar luggage. I basically stuffed all of my summer clothes and a few sweats and sweaters to keep me warm if a storm hits Hawaii. It took me about three hours, just on time. Once I got out, Michael was already downstairs telling our parents where we're going for seven days.

"Wait, why didn't Tatiana tell us?" My mother's worried voice, echoed through the halls.

I quickly walked into the room and their heads turned at me.

"Mom, it was short notice.." I mumbled, feeling a bit ashamed that I didn't tell her what we were packing up for when I got home.

"Fine. Whatever." she gave up, laughing to herself.

There was three bottles of wine of the table and my step-dad was nowhere to be found.

"Are you going to be fine? What happened with you and Atticus? Is everything alright?" I quickly asked, she wasn't normally like this.

Michael groaned and impatiently walked out of the room, obviously giving no shit about what was happening.

"Yes, I'm fine." she shoo's me away and pushes me out the door, luckily I already had all of my things with me.

"Let's get this show on the road." Michael grinned, taking both our luggages and driving to Sabrina's house.

Once we got there, about two cars were only parked. We doorbelled and Sabrina welcomed us in, Anne, Ashton, and Calum were already there, packed up and all ready for the get-away.

"Well you both were just a couple minutes late.." Sabrina looked down at her MK watch, then strolled away. Calum stood up and gave an excited smile as he walked towards me.

"Our first getaway together?" he seductively says, nibbling on my ear. I laugh and put my face inches away from his.

"Yep." I popped the 'p' and he kissed me on the lips, something must have gotten into him while we were packing up.

"By the way, I am so sorry I didn't defend you earlier.." he apologized, pouting.

"Oh, that's nothing! It's okay Cal, Michael should be the one apologizing right now.. Not you." I smiled, wrapping my arms around his neck then pecked a kiss onto his lips, making him grin like crazy.

A loud knock at the door makes me jump and I answer it to reveal Luke with a bouquet of flowers in his hands: Lavendar Roses.

"Hey-" he smiled, but someone yanks me out of the way and pushes me into Calum.

"Oh my gosh you're finally here! Babe you know I hate people who are late. But whatever, you're Luke Hemmings of 5 Seconds Of Summer," she gasps and grabs the flowers from his hands, making some petals fall off, "Oh my god are these for me?"

Luke nods awkwardly and she squeals and kisses him all over the face, making him squint and finishes for her to stop spreading slobber all over her face.

"Let's get away!" I hollered, breaking the level of awkwardness in the room that 'suke has created.
