ch. 2: "friend date"

Tatiana's P.O.V

* ring *

* ring *

I groaned as I shuffled around my bed trying to find my phone. My hands finally found it & I slowly slid the answer button to hear a familiar voice on the other end.

"Hey Princess." the voice spoke, cheerfully.

"It's you again.." I groaned, annoyed at the blonde haired boy for calling me in the middle of the night.

"So.. I was thinking I could take you out today?" He chuckled over the line.

I finally opened one of my eyes & looked at my phone to see that it was 5 am in the morning.

"Why the hell are you up at 5 am in the morning?" I got even more annoyed by the minute.

"Calm down, actually don't. You sound hot when you're annoyed at me." he laughs then continued to speak. "Anyways, we're going out today at around 4pm in the afternoon, it's not a date. We're meeting one of my friends, I actually really like her. So, help me out?"

"Fine. Go to sleep dork." I sighed, laying back on my side with eyes still closed.

"Really? I mean- yeah thanks! See you later!" his voice seemed to randomly become super cheery.

I tried to find a casual outfit to wear to meet this guy's "friend".

I don't even know when he'll pick me up.

I picked out some ripped white hollister skinny jeans, a grey cami and a maroon hoodie from F21. I didn't feel like being too fancy since I was gonna third-wheel with this creep anyways.

"Tatiana! Your friend is here!" I heard my mom shout from downstairs.

"COMING!" I yelled back as I rushed to get my bag & phone.

I rushed downstairs almost tripping to see the tall boy at the front steps.

"Hey." Calum half-smiled.

"Oh. It's you." I sighed, frowning at him.

I walked over to the closet to grab my checkered vans to match my outfit.

"Where are you off to?" Calum asked suspiciously.

"Going somewhere with a friend." I shrugged.

"What friend? The Prince guy?" He sounded disgusted by the name.

"Yeah-" I spoke but got interrupted by a sudden doorbell.

I opened the door to reveal the Prince guy I met at the mall, he smirked at me holding a bouquet of flowers.

"Hey Princess." He half-smiled with his perfectly pearl-white teeth.

"Oh hey! Who are the flowers for?" I felt myself blush for melting into his blue eyes instantly.

"For my friend! You're helping me, remember?.. I don't think I know you." He questioned as he looked over at Calum, who was standing there with his hands on his hips, looking like a 5 year-old who didn't get cookies for breakfast.

"Calum Hood. You better take care of her." Calum took his hand & shook it.

"Nice to meet you. Let's get going babe?" He smiled down at me as he took my hand in his which gave me goosebumps all over, good thing I was wearing a hoodie.

"Bye!" I smiled at Calum, who looked pissed.

Prince's P.O.V

I was so nervous to even arrive at her house but I decided to man the hell up & forget all the butterflies exploding in my stomach. As soon as she opened the door, I almost fainted from how beautiful she looks.

Even though she was just wearing a cami & some ripped skinny jeans, she looked so beautiful & I knew I wasn't gonna loose her to the jerk Calum.

"Hold on to these will ya?" I bit my lip as I handed her the bouquet of roses.

"Sure dude." she beamed at me, I could see her blush & I thought it was the most adorable thing I've ever seen in life.

"Why are you so adorable?" I questioned her as she laughed.

"I'm pretty weird I don't know." she smiled, it was simple yet something was so enchanting about her.

A few moments later we arrive to a pizzeria.

"Wow. I should've dressed better for your friend.." she was taken aback & her eyes widened.

"Haha no. You look fine." I felt myself flush as she looked down at her hands.

She smiled once again.

After getting our seats at the table, she looked confused but I convinced her to sit down at the table with only 2 seats.

"Uh.. Isn't there supposed to be 3 seats?" she furrowed her brows at me.

"My friend isn't coming. It's just you and me. I really wanna get to know you and I like you. I set this date up for us. Just us. I wanna know you." I smiled at her as I felt myself blush.

"I really like you too, Prince."
