Tatiana's P.O.V

It's been about two to five days that I haven't gotten out of bed. Sabrina would come over with the assignments that I've missed from school, I try to motivate myself to get out of bed but I really haven't gotten the energy to do so. My alarm still rang every morning at six o'clock in the morning, making me bothered.

"Hun, you have to go to school." my mom bursted in, sitting on my bed.

"Do I really have to?" I groaned, sitting up on the bed.

"Yes you really do have to you've been missing alot of schoolwork and you haven't even done half of the assignments that Sabrina have been coming over with!" she practically yelled at me, making me even more hurt.

"Actually, you know what? Why didn't you tell me that Calum was my brother in the first place?" I yelled back, finally letting my inner-anger out.

"Calum Hood? I know I had a son with your father but we always argued about what name we would pick, the name Calum was far off on the list." she defended herself.

"Oh yeah? What about this?" I threw the DNA paper at her and she took it then crumpled it up.

"Maybe it's true." she crossed her arms.

"How come you would say such a thing?" a tear dropped from my right eye and another one after that one.

"Let's talk reality here Tatiana, you and him both have brown hair, brown eyes, tan skin-" she began to ramble on and on.

"Just because we have the same features doesn't mean we're related!" I practically yelled at her again.

"FINE! Don't listen to me, go marry him for all I care." she began to storm out.

"You're a sick mother!" I threw a pillow at the door, making it make a loud thump noise interrupting Roxy who was sleeping peacefully on her bed.

I walked over to her and sat against the closet, and she sat up, tilting her head up at me.

"Life sucks doesn't it?" I sighed, petting her head making her make a low growling sound.

After a good 30 minutes I decided to get up and choose an outfit of the day. I picked a casual outfit and threw on my black jansport backpack. Roxy followed me as I walked downstairs & I prepared her food, as I set it down she kept hopping making me smile for the shortest time. I chose to make a shake to take along with me to school and I poured all the content in a cup

"TATIANA!" someone shrieked, causing me to suddenly drop the cup filled with the shake.

It was Mali.

"Hi." I forced a smile and got some tissues to clean up the mess.

"Oh my goodness I am so sorry!" she practically skips over to me and helps me with the mess that I've caused.

"It's okay." I reassured her as I threw away the dirty napkins and grabbed another cup of shake.

"How have you been doing?" she leaned on the counter, smiling at me.

"Pretty bad." I admitted, taking a sip of the shake.

"Oh.. I could see that.." she bit her lip and looked down, "About Calum-"

"Please don't mention him." my heart beated fast then an emotional feeling came right after it.

"Tatiana I know all of the things that happened or about to happen may be over-whelming but trust me, I know Calum is nowhere related to you, I swear. I saw him pop out of my mom right on that day & I could assure you that your Dad may be lying to you." she reassured me, putting her hands on my shoulders.

"Then where's my real brother?" I questioned her, backing up. I still wasn't comfortable talking about this.

"I don't know.." she muttered, giving me a sad look.

"Come back when you actually have proof." I scoffed then walked away to head to school.

"No! Tatiana! I swear, Cal-" she chased after me but I held a hand up to her face, stopping her.

"Please just leave me alone Mali. I love you but right now is not a good time for me, okay?" a tear fell on my cheek.

Stop crying Tatiana, you're better than that.

Don't ever cry over a boy.

"Are you sure?" she asked, coming closer.

"I'm sure.." I forced a smile and gave her a quick hug then rushed to the door.

"Wait, don't o-" she tried stopping me but it was too late.

Calum was in front of my door, holding a big bouqet of lavendar-rose flowers.

My favorite type of flowers and color.

"Uhm-" I awkwardly stepped out, trying to pass him but he pulls me back.

"Tatiana, please don't listen to them. We're not related I swear, I will even travel across the world, hell I would even go into the galaxy to find your real brother. But, I swear I'm about ninety-nine percent that we're not related. Please don't listen to your father." he practically pleaded, his eyes were watery.

"No Calum. Both me and you have seen the paper saying that we're both one-hundred related." I argued.

"Do you really think we're related?" he let go of me.

"I don't know but-"

"No. I need an answer, Tatiana."

"Y-yes." I stuttered.

"Don't you ever talk to me again." he dropped the flowers to the ground and walked away to his car.

"CALUM!" Mali called after him, but she stopped and turned around to me, "It wasn't supposed to end like this."

I nodded and she continued to chase after him, I picked up the bouqet and a small note was hidden inside it..

'When I tell you I love you, I don't say it out of habit, I say to remind you that you're the best thing that's ever happend to me. -Your One & Only Cal Pal'

my heart broke.

I rushed to the front of my house, the car was no longer there anymore.

I lost him.

Calum's P.O.V

"Calum, what the hell was that?!" Mali asked furiously as I sped down the streets.

"If she thinks we're related, so be it." I replied back, annoyed.

"You're giving up that easily?" she asked, and I suddenly stop the car to the redlight in front of us.

"I don't know." I broke down and started crying.

"Don't you ever lose hope, little brother.." she hummed softly as I cried into her shoulders.
