ch. 18: "sparks fly"

Tatiana's P.O.V

I felt my heart squeeze tight as each lyrics stung. Luke found his feelings for me and when I was just about to get over him, he suddenly comes back into my life.

I thought I liked Calum but I felt like I'm just a friend in his eyes.

Luke was my first love, we dated for 10 months, I couldn't believe we threw all that away just because of one mistake.

I froze as Luke's lips fell upon mines, but I softened and I've lost control. I didn't want this to happen. I wanted to help Luke with his song writing not kiss him, but I guess I've fallen into his trap once again.

He slowly set his guitar down to the floor and picked me up, trying not to break the kiss, I sit on his lap, legs around his waist, hands in his hair. I couldn't stop.

We were like magnets.

He continued to take off my beanie since it was getting a little too hot and he laid me down on his pillow gently and deepened the kiss with his tongue.

I suddenly felt a vibration under my back, then everything fell back into place.

I was supposed to be at Calum's game, not here with Luke.

I quickly push him off, making him fall on his elbows on the bed, he was surprised.

"Wait-" he tried to grab me again by my wrist but I made sure I wasn't to be caught again and I quickly take my phone, but he runs over to the door and pins himself against and locks it.

"Luke, get out of the way." I said, trying to catch my breath.

"No, you need to listen to me." He went closer to me, but I backed up.

I was putty in his hands.

"No Luke! Don't you get it? I'm trying to start over, why can't you just let me go for goodness sake?" I threw my hands in the air, trying not to break down again.

"No, Tatiana, I don't get it. Okay? Ever since we've broken up, I couldn't focus." he came closer and grabbed my waist, pulling us closer, "I got my feelings back for you. I have always loved you, I know I did the most stupidest thing ever by kissing Rhea but that was all her! I swear love, I could never hurt you. You have never done anything wrong to me. We both did something wrong, you kissed Calum but that was time where I should have chose time with you rather than other people. Please, just give me a second time.." tears swelled up in his eyes, and one after the other fell down his perfectly sculpted face.

I wiped the tears away and cupped his face in my hands.

"Do you still love me?" I asked, I wanted to make sure.

"Yes princess, I have always loved you since my eyes set on you." he responded by kissing my forehead, and I snuggled in his chest.

"Really?" I looked up at him, he was smiling now, eyes still red from crying.

"Yes.." he leaned down to kiss me on the lips once more, leaving a quick kiss.

"I love yo-" I started to say but then my phone began to ring. I quickly broke away from the hug and looked on the screen.

Calum

I looked over to Luke, he was now sitting on the side of his bed, looking down at the floor, hands inter wined. I decided to pick up the call.

'"I thought you were coming." Cal's voice sounded upset.

"I was just about to leave for your game.." I lied, making my insides twist.

I hated lying to Calum.

"Really? Oh okay! It starts in five minutes, please make it on time to see me win." he said, making me relieved.

"Yeah Cal I'll be over." I quickly hung up and turned around to see Luke.

"You're not actually going to go to his game are you?" he crossed his arms, looking me straight in the eyes.

"Yes I am Luke.. He's my friend-" I started to say but he cuts me off by yelling.

"Friend? Really? You would rather choose a friend over me? I thought you loved me." he yelled in my face, pointing at the door, "Fine, go to the game. Call me when it's over."

I was really confused.

"I was gonna go even if you told me to stay." I scoffed, grabbing my stuff and opened the door, then going downstairs and leaving his house.

Why did I even bother to come?

Before I could get into my car, a sudden appearance of Luke appears, he was running towards my car & he got into the passenger side quickly.

"I'm coming whether you like it or not." he says out of breath, putting on his seatbelt.

I didn't reply, I just drove out into the drive away and made our way to the game.
