Sophie's POV

Mrs Simpson glared at me as I came into English. I pulled my novel out and started to read like the others in the class. Henry came in and seemed surprised that Will wasn't there. He looked quizzically at me but I shrugged.

"I haven't seen him since training yesterday," I whispered.

"That's strange," he whispered back.

I was focusing on the novel. The chair next to me scrapped out and Will sat in it. He was at least half an hour late.

"You alright?" I whispered as he pulled his book out.

"Yeah, I'm fine," he snapped.

I recoiled and continued to read. Henry raised his eyebrows at me when Will wasn't looking and I shrugged. I continued to read my book but I wasn't thinking about that anymore. Around me, Will seemed like a nice and friendly person but this wasn't like him.

Henry and I both tried to stop him after class but he left before we could.

"I have never seen him like this," Henry said as we headed to Maths.

"He was fine yesterday," I noted.

"Usually he isn't like this. I'll try and talk to him later," Henry muttered before taking his seat and I walked to mine next to Christina.

"What were you talking to him about?" she asked making Henry sound like poison.

"We were discussing English work," I lied easily.

Will wasn't sitting with the rest of the swim team so I went to find him but if you asked Katy and Christina they think that I am looking for Mrs Simpson to ask her about something in our novel. I found him but that was the easy part. I knew that he would be up in one of the oak trees. Henry said that he loved to sit up there.

I managed to pull myself up and sit next to him. I don't know whether he just didn't want to talk to me or if he didn't notice me as he continued to stare off into space.

"Are you going to talk to me?" I asked,

"I don't want to talk to you," he said plainly.

"Will, you have to talk to someone," I prodded.

"If you get Henry, I will talk to him," he said.

I jumped out of the tree and headed over to the swim team table.

"Will won't talk to me but he said that he will talk to you," I said talking to Henry.

He quickly jumped up and followed me out. I showed him the tree and then walked away. I could have eavesdropped on their conversation but I didn't. Whatever the issue with Will is it is personal so I headed back to Katy and Christina.

We spent the rest of the time gossiping. Christina was telling us about something that happened in her class. I noticed Will and Henry come back in. Henry smiled at me when he saw me but kept walking with Will who had his arm around Henry.

I only just arrived at swim training on time because I had therapy with Mr Cooper for my knee. He was very pleased with the fact that I didn't have to use the crutches anymore. I didn't have time to talk to Will or Henry though which I really wanted to do.

Will was in the water with Henry and Nathan. I jumped in to swim with Em and Tori. We swam quite a few laps before giving up for the day. I sat on the side waiting for the guys to finish. I had been sitting for five minutes before deciding to join them.

Nathan was surprised to see someone swimming beside him. I pulled past him and Henry before I was beside Will. We both turned on the wall at the same point and I started swimming as fast as I could. Will reached the wall moments before I did. I sat on the wall as I caught my breath. Will was still in the water but breathing heavily.
