Chapter 13

Ashley's POV (1 year later and Luke is 20 and Ashley's 19)

I wake up next to Luke with his arms wrapped around me. I smile and look at him. I see that he wakes up and looks at me and smiles. I smile back.

"Good morning" I say

"Hi" he says "so can I ask you something?" Luke asks

"Yes"

"What happened?" He asks

"My mom and I had a fight nothing big" I say

"Okay" he says and I get up

"No" he whines pulling me back

"Luke I need to get back" I laugh

"Fine" he says letting go of me and I get up again climbing out of the window

I run home and something feels strange to me. I want into the house and it empty. I look in the garage and my moms car isn't there. I take my phone out and called her.

"Hello?" She answers

"Mom where are you?" I ask

"Oh I'm leaving" she says

"Leaving me here?" I ask

"Well you ran off" she says

"Wow what a mom" I say hanging up

I go to the couch and sit down. All the furniture and my stuff is here so that's good. My mom just took all of her stuff she left everything else. I go to the kitchen and she she forgot the silver wear. Plates, bowls, spoons, forks, knifes, and my favorite. Food.

Thank god before my mom moved in she payed everything for the house completely. So I don't need to get anything. Now I have the house to myself and I can do whatever I want. Except anything that illegal. That would be bad.

I go up to my room and sit on my bed. I was bored. I grab my phone and dial Luke's number.

"Hey Ashley what's up?" Luke says threw the phone

"Nothing but I live alone now." I say happy to be away from my so called "mom"

"What happened to your mom?" He asks

"She drove away. Now she's gone and left me with the house and only took her stuff so I have everything I need." I say

"Nice. Also lucky" he says laughing a bit

"So wanna come over. I'm pretty bored" I say

"Sure be right there" he says

I hang up and go down to the door and open it and wait outside. I see Luke walking and I smile at him. To be honest I'm really not sure what we are. He hasn't asked me out at all. But we act like we're together. I'm just not sure.

"Hey" he says coming up my driveway and finally standing in front of me.

"Hi" I say smiling

"So what were you thinking we could do?" He asks

"I don't know I just wanted someone over" I say giggling as we walk inside.

"Okay then" he laughs

"Funny thing was I was gonna come over anyways today" Luke says looking nervous.

"And why is that?" I ask smirking

"So umm are you doing anything tomorrow?" He asks

"Hmm let me check my list" I look at my hand and laugh "nope I'm free" I say

"Okay good because I was wondering if you uh maybe... You don't have to just asking-" I cut him off

"Luke what is it?" I laugh

"Will you go on a date with me tomorrow night?" Luke asks

"Of course. I would love to" I say

"Yes!!" He says which makes me giggle

"Ok what now?" I ask

"Let's watch a horror movie" Luke says

"No. No. No. No. No. No. No" I say

"Whyyy" Luke whines

"Because I'll have nightmares" I say

"Hmm how about.. MEAN GIRLS" Luke says

"YESS" so Luke and I get read for the movie mean girls with a blanket popcorn soda candy and CUDDLES!!
