Chapter 7

Luke's POV

As I'm about to leave the park I see Ashley running towards me with tears rolling down her face. She runs up to me with an instant hug and I hug her back. As her face is buried in my chest and she cries her eyes out I try to think on why she's crying. A few minutes later she falls to her knees I go to my knees and look at her.

"Ashley what's wrong?" I ask

She doesn't say anything just sits there crying her eyes out.

"Ashley please what's wrong?" I say worried

She looks up and her face is red "m-my mom w-wants t-to move away!" She says starting to cry again.

As I just sit there with a shocked face I feel tears rolling in my eyes but I don't cry. I pull Ashley into a hug I try to think what just happened.

"And she wants t-to move a-away for a p-pool" she says

"Why can't you get one here?" I ask

"W-we have no r-room" she says stuttering a little

"Oh" I say under my breath

Ashley's POV

I'm so sad right now all I want to do is stay in Luke's arms forever! What am I going to do without him? He's my friend! So is Michael, Calum , and Ashton. Yeah I know all my friends are boys so what! All I want to do right now is run away forever! I wanna run away with Luke, I wanna run away with Ashton, I wanna run away with Michael, and I wanna run away with Calum! I love it here so much and my mom decides to move. I can't believe her right now!

After 5 minutes I stand up.

"Luke?" I ask

"Yeah?"

"Wanna go to the lake?" I ask him

He nods and we start to walk to the lake.

*2 hours later*

"Thanks Luke you made me feel so much better" I say smiling at him

"No problem" he says putting his arm around me squeezing me in a hug

Luke's POV ( again )

God I feel so bad for her! I felt the same way when me and my mom had to move and it's not a good feeling. I mean staying in the same place for 17 years then having to move stinks. I just wish I could find a way for her to stay, because I need herald if I loose her my heart will be torn out.

I walk her home because she doesn't want to be alone with her mom. As we walk along the sidewalk to her house she talks my hand and she intertwines her fingers with mine. To me holding her hand is a gift I don't know about her but to me it's amazing. If I could I would take her in my arms and run away with her.

We get to her house and we go inside. She looks for her mom but she's not home so we go to her room. She goes to sit on her bed and I follow her sitting next to her putting my arm around her. I see her smile which makes me smile. As she lays her head on my shoulder I feel myself lighten up and makes me really happy.

Later on I see that she fell asleep on my shoulder. So I gently lay her down so her head is on her pillow and I get up. As I put her blankets over her I hear her door open. I turn around to see her mom standing there.

"What are you doing here?" She questions

"Ashley and I were hanging out today" I say

"Oh ok" she say smiling

"Why are you guys moving?" I ask

"Because I don't want my daughter with you" she says

"What!" I say

"I told Ashley because I wanted a pool. But the real reason was because I want her away from you! I left her dad because he was cheating on me, and I don't want that to happen to her either! So I keep her away from boys so she doesn't fall in love and then a week later get her heart shattered! So now that you know the real reason I want you to get out of my house, and if you tell her what I told you you will be ruined!" She says

I just stand there with a blank face

"You got it! Don't tell her!" She yells
