The New Neighbor

Chapter 5

Ashley's POV

as I feel someone pick me up and I can't see who it is, all I can think of is to scream

So I scream.

"Shhh" I hear the person behind me say

"I don't know you! Put me down!" As I say as I feel tear in my eyes as I don't know what's going to happen

"Yes you do know me" they say and I can't even tell by there voice on who he is.

"Put me down!" I yell now starting to cry

"No!" He yells

As I just cry because I have no clue who is holding me and I have no clue what's going to happen next. After I feel who is holding me gets pushed to the ground. Apparently someone tackle the person who was holding me. I turn to see Luke holding Ashton down. As I stare in shock I feel anger rising up like I'm going to explode. As I feel my heart beat faster and faster.

"Ashton!" I yell

"Sorry" he says in an innocent voice

"Ugh I can't believe you!" I say running away

As I turn to see Luke following me I wait for him

He catches up and he takes my hand and are fingers are now intertwined together. As we walk to a lake while the sun is going down. We got there just in time for the sunset over the lake so we can watch it. As we see there is a bridge over the lake we decide to go sit on the edge of it. As we get tithe bridge we walk down it and sit.

God this feels like we're actually dating! I mean it feels so real as we sit and watch the sunset at the edge of a bridge and are fingers are intertwined together. It feels so romantic I've always wondered what it would be like to have a boyfriend. I've never had one before but I'm guessing this is what it feels like and looks like. But surely he probably doesn't feel the same way.

Luke's POV

This feels like we are actually dating which is amazing! But we're not. But I wish we were because she is really pretty, smart, talented, and amazing. But this feels so much like a date, well at least for me probably not for her. But anyways this is such a perfect moment as we watch the sunset, sitting on the edge of a bridge over the lake, and are fingers are intertwined it feels perfect!

As I look over at her I smile as she looks up.

"What?" She asks with a smile

"Nothing" I say

"Why are you staring at me?" She asks laughing a bit

"Why so many questions?" I asks

"I don't know" she says looking back at the sunset.

Ashley's POV

As I just look back at the sunset I see that it's gone and now it's just dark blue sky

As I look over to see Luke I smile as we just sit there for a little while longer I start to fall asleep.

"Ashley?" I hear as Luke shakes my should lightly

"Yeah?" I say

"I thought you fell asleep" he says

"No I'm barely tired" I say lying because I don't want this to end.

"Well I have to go. Can you get home by yourself?" He asks

"Yeah" I say

Before Luke gets up he kisses my cheek which really makes me barely tired. As he leaves I just sit there. Did he really just kiss my cheek? Oh my god!! He did! As I get up I try to find Luke but he's nowhere to be seen.
