Chapter 16

Ashley's POV

I wake up in a place I don't recognize and I notice I'm tied to a chair and there's duck tape on my mouth.

I look around and see nobody. I get scared when I hear footsteps from about me.

The footsteps go towards were the stairs are and I hear the door open.

I see a man walk down and when he turns I see the same guy who was following me. He walks towards me slowly. He pulls out a knife and hold it to my throat.

Luke's POV

I'm just sitting in my room as I decide to call Ashley. I dial her number and it rings but ends the call. She usually always answers.

I decide to wait a couple of hours.

I call her back and nothing. I go downstairs and out the house. I run to her house and knock on her door.

Nothing.

I see that it's unlocked. I decide that I should go in and find her.

I look around for her.

"Ashley?" I yell

No answer.

She must be down at the park.

I run out of the house and run to the park. I look around and I don't see her.

Where could she be?

I go out onto the field I see something on the ground.

I walk to it and it's Ashley's phone. I panic.

I quickly run back to my house.

I run inside looking for my mom. I see her in the kitchen.

"Mom I've been looking for Ashley and I can't find her" I say

"Well she could be out shopping or something like that" my mom says

"No I found her phone on the field near the park." I panic

"Wait?!" My mom says her eyes going wide

I feel my phone buzz and I answer it.

"Hello?" I say

"HELP!" Is all I hear when the line goes dead

I look towards my mom

"That was Ashley" I say
