The New Neighbor

Chapter 27

"Luke stop!" I laugh.

"Never." He replies.

Luke has been doing this thing a lot where he picks me up and just tosses me around playfully and it's so funny, and he's so cute I love him.

He picks me up and Joshua's number on the little paper falls out of my pocket and Luke notices, he puts me down. He picks up the little paper and reads the numbers on it. He then looks up at me and I can't tell how he feels.

"Okay, Luke before you say anything-" I try to speak but Luke cuts me off.

"Who is this?" He speaks.

"Let me finish. Please it's not bad at all I promise you. If you don't remember I had that number before when this guy gave me his number, but his intention is NOT to date me I swear. He just wants to be friends and I think we could be really good friends. If he tries to pull anything I'll stop talking to him." I explain to Luke.

"No! If he tries anything you'll probably give in, what does he have a lot of money or something?" Like says with anger in his voice.

"What?" I ask.

"Does he have money? Is that why you want to talk with him? Or am I just not good enough for you?" Luke asks.

"Luke listen to yourself! Does that sound like me at all?" I ask him serious in my voice.

"I don't know really." He says quietly.

"So you're saying you don't know me?" I ask him.

"No, no, no, no that's not what I'm saying, I just don't know how you'd be with someone who could be better than me." He says making me feel upset.

"Luke, nobody could ever be better than you, not even the richest guy in the world. You are the best most sweetest guy I know and I love you because of it." I explain to him in a quiet voice.

"Well I love you too, and I'm sorry for being jealous I know I shouldn't." He says.

"It's fine. You're very cute when you get like that sometimes." I giggle.

"The only cute one here is you." He says as he slowly starts to kiss me. His hands started to go down my waist to my butt and I giggle through the kiss.

"That's not true, because you're here too." I reply after the kiss.

"Wow you're hot." He says looking at every feature of my face.

"Whoa where is this coming from?" I ask smiling as I slowly wrap my arms around his neck.

"What? This has always been here." He chuckles. "You're just so.. Wow." He says making me blush.

I look down so he doesn't notice but he lightly hold my chin and lifts my head up looking me in the eyes.

"You've always been beautiful, and I love you with all my heart. I'm very glad to cal you mine." He explains.

"Awe, I love you too, but would this be a bad time to say that I really want some pizza?" I ask and he laughs.

"Not at all." He says.

I bring my arms back to my side and I go get my phone that I put on the coffee table. Luke and I leave the house and I lock the door.

We get into the car and Luke drives so we can go get some pizza.

Our pizza finally comes and it smells amazing. My mouth is watering just looking at its beauty. Oh, why am I always like this? It's just food. EXACTLY! It's JUST food.

I take a slice and start to eat it, and people.. it is delicious.

Luke looks over at me smiling as I enjoy my pizza.

"Enjoying that over there?" He asks.

"Oh yes very much so." I say taking another bite.

We counting to eat and we finally finish the entire pizza. I think I had more than Luke, but I wasn't keeping track.

We pay for the pizza and go home. I unlock the door and go over to the couch laying down. I close my eyes because of how tired I am.

I slowly start to fall asleep and I feel Luke put a blanket over me. Making me smile as I finally fall asleep.
