Ashley's POV
I head home after spending hours at the park with Luke. I'm really going to miss him. Why does my mom hate him so much. Why do we have to move. Why can't she just leave I'm 17 I can handle myself. Right? I mean i have Luke to help me. Right?
I open my door and see mostly everything packed. I feel tears in my eyes and my mom comes running over.
"Honey what's wrong?" She asks
"I don't want to leave" I say
"Well we have to. Don't you want that pool?" She asks
"NO!" I say in anger and I'm very upset
"Why?" She asks
"Because I love it here. I love the view. I love the neighborhood." I pause for a moment I shed one last tear "I love Luke" I say and her eyes go wide.
"Why do you even like him he's a punk." She says in anger
"You say he's a punk huh. Yeah we'll get to know him" I spat and walked away
"ASHLEY GET BACK HERE. YOU WILL NOT TALK TO ME LIKE THAT!!" She screams
"Why do you talk about Luke like that mom. Huh. He told me why we're leaving. You know why BECAUSE YOU FREAKING HATE HIM!! You don't want me to get heartbroken like you but LUKES NOT LIKE THAT. WHY DONT YOU GET TO KNOW HIM!!" I yell
All that's left is silence.
I run to my room and I grab a rope I've been hiding I tie it to my windows and I climb down to the ground. I then use my phone as a flashlight and run off to Luke's house. I get there and throw pebbles at his window. I see his window open.
"Ashton, Calum, and Michael go away!" Luke tiredly says
"Ok fine if you don't want me." I say turning around and walking slowly
"Ashley?" He asks
"Yep"
"No come back!" He whines
"Fine"
After climbing a rope... Again. I finally got to Luke's room. I sit on his bed and look at him.
"Hi" he says hugging me
"Hi" I say hugging him back
"Why are you here?" He asks
"Don't ask" I say
"Oh do you want to stay here?" He asks
"Yes please"
"Well I was just sleeping so I'm gonna go back to that" he says laying down still hugging me causing me to lay down to. I didn't realize how tired I was till my eye lids felt like bricks. So I quickly fell asleep wrapped in Luke's arms.
