The New Neighbor

Chapter 24

Ashley's POV

I've always wanted to go to Disneyland. I've never been and I've always wanted to see the castle.

"We would have to take a plane to get there though." Luke says.

"That's fine. I just want to go. I've never been there before." I say making Luke smile.

"Neither have I." He says.

"I'm so excited!" I cheer.

I hug him tightly.

Luke's POV

Now I'm scared. What if she doesn't say yes. What if I ask her to marry me and she runs away?

I hug her back smiling.

Ashley's POV

We're here and I love it even though we just got here.

We walk around and go on some rides.

It's been a few hours later and I've been having so much fun. I even got to taste beer butter, even though its like 3,000 calories. It's really good.

The sun starts going down and we go in front of the castle. It was so pretty. The sunset with the castle was just magnificent.

I look towards Luke smiling.

"This is so beautiful." I say.

"It hasn't ended yet." He says.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Well.." he says. "I've known you for awhile and I could never forget the day I met you and ever day after that. I've loved you from the start and I just knew... it had to be you."

I look at him smiling.

"I knew it had to be you and it was. You are my beautiful girlfriend. I love you so much." He says.

He looks at me and he goes down on one knee. He looked up at me.

"I love you Ashley. Will you do me the honor and marry me?" He asks.

A lot of people were looking over at us. I look around and back at Luke.

I smile tears in my eyes.

"Yes." I say.

He stands up putting the ring on my finger. He then hugs me and kisses me.

"I love you so much." He says.

"I love you too." I say.

I smile looking at him. Everyone starts to clap and I just laugh hiding my face.

This night will always be in my memory.
