Chapter 26

Ashely's POV

It's time for Luke and I to leave and go back home. I can't explain how much I love this idiot sitting next to me. I really love him. I'd sacrifice my life for him. That's saying a lot too.

I look at him next to me and we go get ready to leave.

We're finally home and we're going to see Luke's mom first.

We get to her house and Luke opens the door. Walking in and I follow behind him.

"Mom?" He calls out and Liz comes running in the room hugging Luke.

Like smiles and I just stand there looking at the two.

Liz steps back a little looking at me.

"Hi honey." He she smiles hugging me.

I wrap my arms around her and hug her back.

"Hey mom guess what?" Luke asks.

"What?" Liz asks.

Like takes my hand with the ring on it showing Liz. She looks at the ring, immediately hugging both of us at the same time.

All of us laugh and Liz eyes are tearing up.

"Awe I love you both." She says still in a hug.

"So I'm going to soon be Ashley Hemmings." I smile.

"Indeed you are." Luke says wrapping his arm around me.

Liz just looks at us smiling.

"So we're going to go to Ashley's place. I'm excited to call it our place." Luke says.

"Luke, its always been our place." I say.

"Okay you two have fun." "But not too much!"

"Mooom." Luke complains.

"Love you!" She says.

We both leave and go to our house. I unlock the door and go inside.

All of a sudden I see the guys jump out from behind the couch.

"HEY!" They yell.

I freeze in fear.

"Wow. Okay." I say.

Everyone starts laughing and I start too.

Later that day I started to walk to the park myself. I hear someone calling my name and I turn around seeing Joshua.

I stop walking so he can catch up.

"Hey Joshua." I smile.

"Long time no see Ashley." He says smiling.

I smile back greeting him.

"So what are you up to right now?" He asks.

"I was just going to the park." I tell him.

"Oh that's cool. Mind if I go with you?" He asks.

"Not at all. It's nice to see you again." I say.

"Okay cool." He says.

"So anything big happen?" I ask.

"No not really. My girlfriend just broke up with me." He says.

"Aw I'm sorry." I say.

"Yeah it's fine though. What about yourself?" He asks.

I hold my left hand out showing him the ring.

"Oh you're married?!" He asks.

"Well going to be, We're engaged right now." I tell him.

"Wow that must be exciting!" He says.

"Yeah it is. I'm really excited to just walk down that aisle." I exclaim.

Joshua gets a call and we just keep walking.

"Yeah, okay, I'll be right there." He say.

"Well I have to go get to work. They need me because I'm the manager. Very tough job. But I hope to talk again. Remember you have my number." He says.

"I actually don't." I say.

"Oh. Well here" he pulls out a pen and writes his number on my arm then leaves.

I quickly take out my phone putting his number in.

He's gone and I just keep walking to the park.
