Chapter 11

Ashley's POV

it's now Saturday and I tell my mom I'm going to the park but I didn't tell her why I'm going. Which is to see Luke and take a walk by the lake and he said we were going to have a 'perfect day.' Hopefully we will.

I walk out the door and start to walk to the lake. It's pretty cold out today if I do say so myself. I didn't notice where I was walking and walked straight into someone random. I fall backwards hitting the ground but stopped myself by putting my hands back but I scraped my arm a little. I looked at my arm and see blood.

"Crap" I say standing up

"I'm sorry" I hear the person say

I look to see if I know who it is but I don't. He's a guy with brown hair and blue eyes. If I had to say something about him I'd say I would definitely want to get to know him. Would I say he seems better thank Luke then n- wait actually I don't know. I would need to get to know him better.

"It's fine I wasn't paying attention. But I'm Ashley." I say

"I'm Joshua" he says looking at me

"Nice to meet you Joshua" I say acting proper but causes him to laugh then which cause me to laugh along. God his laugh is so contagious it makes people laugh when he does.

"Your really funny. Here let me give you my number so we can chat."

"Abso- I mean sure!" I say nervously

I give him my phone so he can put his number in and I put my number on his phone.

"Well I should get going" he says

"Yeah me too it was so nice crashing into you" I laugh

He laughs and we both head opposite ways.

I get to the park and see Luke there which makes me smile. He notices I'm there and runs up to me putting his hands on my cheeks and lightly kisses me. Then I hug him and he wraps his arms around me.

"I missed you" I say

"I missed you too" he says back making me smile "God your so cute" he says kissing me again

Which definitely makes me blush.

"Now what should we do?" I ask

"Wait before we do anything what happen to your arm?" He asks as I look at my arm and it's still all bloody

Should I tell him the truth or no? I really don't know.

"I umm I tripped and fell on my arm." I say

He looks at me in the eyes

"Ok now what really happened?" He asks knowing I was lying.

God how does he know I was lying?

"I Umm I- I ran into someone and fell and scraped my arm" I say but it was only have the story

"Ok" he says and takes my hand and goes over to the bench and sits me down.

"Stay there for a second I'll be back" he says

"Ok"

He comes back with paper towels and a water bottle. He sits next to me and takes my arm softly and places it on his knee and takes the water bottle and paper towels and he pours water on the paper towels and takes my arm from his knee. He then looks for the scratch and he gently wipes it. I flinch a little from the coldness.

"Sorry" he says

"It's fine" I say and when he finishes I hug him.

"Thank you"

"Your welcome babe" he says
