The New Neighbor

Chapter 15

Ashley's POV

I wake up next morning alone.

"Luke?" I ask getting up

I look around then see a note on the table. I pick it up and start to read the note that Luke left this morning.

Good morning beautiful. I left because my mom called me and I had to lie :/ which doesn't bother me because I was with you. I made coffee :) I'll see you later

I smile at the note and hang it on the fridge.

I go to the couch after getting some coffee and sit going on my phone. I go to Luke's contact and call him.

After three rings Luke answers.

"Hey beautiful" he says

"Hi Luke" I smile

"So what are you up to?" He asks

"Nothing much. So how did it end up with your mom?" I ask

"So you read the not. But yeah I got away with it so." He laughs

"Nice" I say

"Well I got to go. I'll see you soon" he says

"Okay" I reply and he hangs up

I get up and go to get dressed.

I finish with that and decide to go to the park.

I get there and sit down on one of the swings and read a book that I brought. I look up for a second. I see someone looking at me. I read for a bit more than stand up walking away from the playground. I look behind me seeing that guy again. He looks likes he's 50.

I walk faster and look for my phone which I can't find. I must've left it at the house.

I start to panic and I start to run to scared to look behind me.

I hide behind bleachers for where the field is. I look and see the guy again. I duck down and wait for him to leave.

I stand up and I don't see him anywhere. I walk out from behind the bleachers and look around seeing nobody.

I start to walk back to my house when I feel someone grab both of my wrist and pull me back. I try to get loose but they put a white tissue over my mouth and nose making every turn to black.
