THE ON THE ROAD AGAIN TOUR WAS THE BEST FREAKING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!! (I type as I wear a 1D tshirt, necklace, headband, and hat.)
So, if you didn't know, I went to a One Direction concert last night. I thought nothing would beat the Selena Gomez concert, but seeing my four favorite 20 something year old boys act like idiots for two hours while singing my favorite songs changed that. (At the time that I'm posting this, it was almost exactly 24 hours ago that I first caught a glimpse of the boys walking to backstage.)
Before the concert, my friends and I use permanent marker and took turns being tattoo artists, copying some of 1D's tattoos on our own arms. I also had OTRA inspired nail art. I put the boys faces in my left hand and on the right hand I wrote OTRA and I wrote 1D on both of my thumbs.
I sat in the first level (not on the floor) in row 16. It was one of the best non-floor seats though; I was very satisfied with my seat. From where I sat, I could make our their facial features.
They sang so many of my favorite songs, including my all time favorite song, Diana. When they sang Diana I was literally tearing up; it was such a wonderful feeling to see and hear my favorite song in person.
I took videos of a lot of songs and of the times when the boys were just talking. They said some super funny things that I laughed at so much during the show and I have videos to remember it forever.
I discovered that Harry's extra long hair looks fabulous in person and his hair flips are spectacular!
Now I'm going to list some of the highlights of the show:
• Somebody brought a piñata and put Naughty Boy's face on it. Liam smashed the piñata and then Louis jumped on top of it. It was so funny!
• Liam announced that the 5th album is finished. It will be a mix between rap and opera and will be titled Niall. 😂😂😂(Or he said something really close to that.)
• Harry saw a sign that said 'Harry take your shirt off already' and the girls holding it were shouting it or something so Harry replied to them: "YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN!! This is a family show... (Then he did his adorable cheeky smile) or is iiiit?"
Then he was telling us to clap our hands and stomp our feet and he asked if we wanted to do it faster so the fans cheered. Then Harry said "It doesn't go any faster! This isn't alright... Or is it???"• Someone gave Liam a llama puppet and Liam had the puppet sing the last line to Story of my Life.
• Liam and Louis got an ostrich puppet from a fan and they named it Dave.
I WAS THERE FOR THE BIRTH OF DAVE THE OSTRICH• Fireproof was recently added to the setlist (so recently that it wasn't up on the Wikipedia page for the tour) and I was pleasantly surprised to hear that song live when I wasn't expecting it.
• Harry stuttered when he tried saying 'supported' and I caught it on video.
• They shot streamers out at the crowd during No Control. I saw something on Twitter that made it seem like it was the first time they did that, so that's cool that I was there during the first time they did that.
• Liam discovered that Kansas City is actually in Missouri and not Kansas.
• Harry made some funny comments about the Raiders. "I support the Raiders... Said no one ever!"
• It was 90-something degrees the whole night. The boys changed clothes a few times during the show, except for Harry. By the end of the show, he was so sweaty and he must've just not cared at all.
• Liam doesn't like Powerade. He thinks it smells weird.
• Louis chased Liam all over the stage and dumped water on him several times. At one point, they both ran backstage and came out with bottles of Powerade. They splashed Powerade all over each other and Louis white shirt was stained red/pink on the back from it.
• Once the show was over, we found our ride back to the hotel. (we hired a driver who brought us and other fans to and from the concert). Our ride was a red bus, which we found as a funny and appropriate coincidence. (If you aren't aware, there is an old joke in the 1D fandom about Louis saying 'I love Big Red Bus!')
I hope to be able to see One Direction live again in the future. This was the best night of my life! I haven't said that since the Stars Dance tour but I honestly had a much more entertaining and enjoyable time at the 1D show, (even though I wasn't able to touch 1D's hands like I touched Selena's hand.). It was truly a great experience that I probably won't shut up about for the next several days.

PoetryIn my free time, I like to write original songs. I show them to friends sometimes but other than that, I never really get the chance to show them to anyone. I decided to make this to share my songs. Hope you enjoy! If you're interested in collabo...
