My Song For You (Original Song #3)

This song is probably the most emotional one I've ever written. I have a friend who has struggled with so many things in her life. She has struggled with self harm and depression for a long time.

I have probably tried writing at least five songs for her but I never could manage to make them turn out quite right so I gave up on each one of them.

One day, she told me that she had attempted to kill herself the night before and I didn't know what I was supposed to say or do. She would tell me about her struggles and I would never have the words to say. That day I went home, sat down at my piano and didn't get up from the spot until I had this entire song written. I cried just about the whole time I wrote it. I never know what to tell her when I feel like I need to tell her something but I think I managed to finally let her know what I wanted to say when I wrote this song for her.
