>>>><Pulled In Shadows><<<<

It was another day stuck in this place, and we still don't know much about what's going on. But with Alex helping out, maybe things will move a little quicker.

A few minutes after we sat down to eat, Alex told me the old man and some assistants are in a coma now. They were fine before they went to sleep... but never woke up after. Hearing that made my stomach drop.

All those times we fought the phantoms... and what happened a few days ago flashed in my mind. I kept asking myself: Did I drag the others into this? If I did... then I must've pulled everyone else in too.I knew I was connected to whatever this is, but I never thought I could be the reason for all of it.

I should've just left when I heard those phantom noises.
Damn it. This is my fault.

I thought it was just the basement or the phantom.

But, whether I meant to or not... I'm the reason we're trapped here. If I wasn't here, would this stop? No, no, don't freak out. That won't fix anything.

This is good — we finally have a better idea what's going on. If it's not the basement, then we don't have to go back to Savannah.
(Wish we'd known that way back then.)

Maybe that guy had a point about 'controlling it'... or wait.

If I can pull people in...Why not just throw them in and watch them struggle?

I jumped when Alex grabbed the food tray from the table, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I'll bring your dinner in a few hours." He handed me a water bottle."Uh, okay. Thanks."

Alex left, and I was left with my thoughts again.

What was I even thinking just now?

I took a sip of water, barely noticing the folded paper in my hand.
"What...?" I stared, confused. Did Alex give this to me?

I scan the room out of the corner of my eye making sure the camera couldn't see the paper.
