Picky was in the field around Nathan's house, she was holding her axe and looking at him with a nervous look. She was shaking and sweating a little, and after a heavy sigh, the pig dropped her axe on the ground, turned her back and wandered around the place.

“I can’t… why can’t I!? Just make it glow, change shape… there must be something more, Nathan doesn’t even leave a hint! And if he does, it doesn’t even seem to make sense!” thought the girl as she scratched herself, hitting herself due to the frustration of her training.

Picky faced his axe, picked it up with one hand, swung it back and swung it down, hitting the ground; during the swing, the weapon glowed and at the same time it hit the ground, lightning fell next to the axe.

After the blow, the weapon becomes her apple necklace, and in a sullen manner, she leaves the field and heads into the forest;

— Should I follow her? — Mía asked her father.

— Yes, but don't go... it won't be of any use in the end — replied the fox.

The pig walked through the dense forest, with many malicious eyes watching her, but no one spoke up. She just walked for a long time, and after that time, she took a breath, got ready to run and then disappeared... her speed was high but inert, she passed through everything but nothing moved.

Some time passes and Picky finds herself on a beach, the water is calm and she has her feet buried in the sand, she is sitting and her necklace is next to her, in the sand. The pig looked at that red-painted iron apple with a somewhat sad look, she seemed to be thinking about something;

“Ever since I agreed to be trained by Nathan, he explained to me about this necklace of mine… and nothing he said came true… why? Is there something I can do?”

Standing up, she grabbed her necklace, put it around her neck and headed back to the forest… her next destination? Estella. Arriving in the city, her appearance didn't attract much attention, after all, no one knew her. Walking through the sidewalks full of Estella, her goal appeared: the orphanage.

Picky sighs, as she looks at the building she previously fled, she thinks about how to get in, she is mute and cannot use the intercom, so the only way she can get in she can think of is to break down the gate, but she doesn't do that, she cuts the lock and opens it.

The outside, the orphanage grounds, were empty, meaning everyone was at school, great, so I couldn't hurt anyone. Knocking on the door, the girl expected an answer, and she got one. One of the caretakers opened the door and came face to face with her. At first, the pig wasn't recognized. But...

Picky made hand signals, saying, “I’m back, don’t be afraid, I’m not hungry anymore.” The caregiver widened her eyes and noticed that Picky had changed a lot. Her lower fangs had gotten bigger and were sticking out of her mouth, her ears had grown and had some spots on them. The addition of the brown scarf, the shoulder pad, and a combat belt made her more… “robust,” besides her body size.

— My… God… you got bigger? And aren’t you hungry? — asked the caregiver as she walked away, she had medium-length black hair and a scared look.

Picky saw her moving away and moved away a little too, she bowed and soon sat on the floor with her legs crossed, taking off her scarf, shoulder pad and belt... showing that there was no danger and that she would obey orders...

She had come back thinking that they would still treat her like a monster, just like they had for eleven years. What turned out to be the opposite was true. The caregivers welcomed her with joy, applause, and even gave her some food — Picky refused most of it — until the director of the place welcomed her with a smile on her face. This showed that something had changed.

“Strange… up until now, no one has hurt me or rejected me, now that all the children are here… I only get curious eyes” she thought as she slowly ate some simple food from the orphanage, Picky noticed the children’s bright eyes.

— Who are you? — said one of those shining eyes that were very close to her.

Picky responds in gestures that she is old, but no one knows her in the place, well, the younger ones.

— Ho! She's mute! And she said that we children don't know because we're too young... wait... but why? — said another child, at first she was very excited, but she got a little confused at the end of her speech.

The pig girl replied that she was in an isolated place in that orphanage… trapped by the fears of others…

— Guys, I think she needs a hug — said one of the children, a girl, and her words left Picky confused and indignant — let's go guys? — she asked at the end.

The kids all got excited and shouted a loud “let’s go”, then jumped on Picky in a big group hug, which gradually made the young pig burst out laughing.
