[{The Chapter}]

Far away, it was already night and in a house, in a specific room, there was a pedestal made of wood, and above it a completely black cube, someone appeared in the room through the door, he was covered by a cloth that served as a cape and hood, the cloth was worn and a little bluish.

This someone closed the door and approached the cube after a short time, and with his two hands, or rather paws, caressed the object;

— Copykat… — the voice was masculine and spoke after a sigh — today was really nice, Jorunny and I went out to buy something and I found something you liked… — a red flower was placed on the side of the object, it was a Spider Lily — yeah… I think that's it for today, strength my kitty — he kissed the cube and then walked away.

Before the person walked through the door to leave, the cube moved slightly, catching his attention. A crack formed in the cube. The hooded figure reached into his right arm and pulled out a pin, which quickly grew larger. From the crack emerged a hand, black as smoke, but purple skin formed around it, giving it the appearance of a paw.

The large pin-shaped creature positioned itself to fight, all apprehensive and fear etched in its pose. First a paw, then an arm, then a foot and a leg, until the cube disappeared and gave way to a swirling white flow. Finally, the body was revealed—a purple cat with slightly darker markings, its folds stitched together as if patched together.

The feline was on its knees with its hands on the ground, then it slowly got up, soon opening its eyes, showing that its iris was a very strong green triangle...

— Knitty… I… — tears streamed from his eyes — I'm back — he smiled as he opened his arms.

The hooded figure removes his hood, soon revealing himself to be a cat, this time yellow, with one red ear and one blue ear. He has an orange spot on one cheek, and his left eye is a blue button.

— Copy… you, are you back? — a little apprehensive, but with tears of joy streaming from his eyes — but is it really you? The demon can disguise himself as others — still in the fighting pose.

— Knitty, you're older than the Vritra image, you were born with the death of a wizard who possessed a toy, you found me wandering around with my fear of the sun and took me in, we had many adventures during that time, even Wishbone found us, and thanks to me he joined our team... haha, ah... this dog still owes me a nap on his pillow — he explained quite emotionally.

— Copykat! — the other feline drops the pin and runs to hug the other.

It was a long, tight hug. Knitty's tears were silent but filled with joy, for he had seen someone important again. The lights in the house came on, and since it was night, Copykat was given a blanket to cover himself with and a cup of coffee to warm him up. They even gave him food to eat because his stomach was growling.

And there were the residents: Knitty, the yellow cloth cat; Jorunny, a blue rabbit with bubble patterns all over her body and a shell necklace; and finally, Dogami, a somewhat serious dog who seemed to be made of green and gray paper.

What caught the most attention were their eyes, they shone, Knitty had blue eyes, Dogami had very strong green eyes, and Jorunny had red eyes, the most striking.

— Haa… thanks guys, I appreciate everything, and it's good to see your faces — he smiled, taking a sip of coffee — by the way, who is she? — he pointed to the rabbit.

— Copy… without… wanting to hurt you or anything like that… — Knitty said this with her head down a little, Copykat found it strange — after you left, some time later I ended up meeting her, and… as time went by I fell in love with her — she smiled while holding the rabbit's hand.
The cup fell, the pieces scattered and the coffee stained the floor;

— You what? — Copykat’s eye twitched.

— Look… I’m sorry, okay, I still love you and…

— What? You fell in love with her? How long has it been out here? Two years? In two years, you've already forgotten me!? Already traded me in? — He stood up, stomped his foot, screamed, and bared his claws. — You... you traitor! I thought you were loyal, like I was a piece of gum you chew and then spit out!

— Copy! You were sealed for twenty-three years! I fell in love with Jorunny six years ago, I was too lonely to just think about you!! — Knitty shouted, also standing up, stomping her foot, and pointing her finger.

— So... it all ended up being for nothing? The games we played? The times I sang to you, showing my love? Our sparring matches? Our times in bed? — He lost his high tone, but his angry gaze shifted to one of seriousness.

— That's not what I meant... Copy, I still love you, you know? It's just that time passes, I fell in love with someone else, and while you were sealed, she was the one who made me happy during that time... — he caressed Copy's face.

— And Wishbone… where is he? — He held Knitty’s paw and looked at her seriously.

— He died… seven years ago, long before I met Jorunny… — he looked out of the corner of his eye, sad.

The patched purple cat's eyes widened, and they soon filled with tears. Copykat let go of Knitty's arm and turned away, opening the door and leaving the place without a word. The rabbit looked a little sad and tried to follow him, but Knitty stopped her, and Dogami simply shook her head at Jorunny.

Copykat walked through the trees. It was nighttime and very cold, the grass seemed to pierce the fabric surrounding his body. He sobbed, crying, and clutched his chest tightly.

— First I lose my boyfriend… — she stumbles and falls to the ground — now I find out my friend is dead? What the hell did he die of…? I need to avenge them all… kill “The Fragment”, and get out of this hell! — she crawled across the lawn — where is Nathan…?

Copykat crawled through the grass for a long time, then got up and stalked off into the forest with heavy, angry strides. Monsters nearby just watched and did nothing, paralyzed with fear by the patched-up cat's presence and breathing.

— Um... he broke free? How? Oh, sure, he did — Nathan said to himself as he set his glass of whiskey aside. — Now things will get better.

The door to Nathan's house is thrown open by Copykat, who was breathing heavily and her skin seemed to melt;

— Nathan! I want a bargain! — he said irritably.

The fox stared at him for a while, then got up and helped the feline sit him on the couch. Mía brought him water and magic bullets to help him recover and maintain his appearance. Nathan asked how he did, and Copykat replied that he only broke the cube.

— Hmm… funny, the servant freed Ten, but you… he actually tested it — Nathan commented, thinking hard.

— If he could free one of us without breaking the seal, why did he free the demon and leave me trapped!? This creator of yours is stupid!! Idiot! I'm good!! Ten is the demon! — he gritted his teeth, his synthetic fur standing on end and his claws showing.

— He always has a stupid idea behind it… lucky for you, he could erase you from existence in that instant — Nathan commented, pulling on his whiskey.

— Whatever!! Now I want to be erased, I want to go back! — He stood up quickly. — I don't belong in this universe, I remembered where I came from!! I could have had a very sad life there, but my original creator loved me!! And now he's thrown me into the hands of your creator, who is a trash person!! — He paced back and forth, always pointing at the fox.

— You said you had a bargain, right? What would it be?

— My freedom, if I kill Dez, I want to return to the hands of my original creator! — Copykat shouted.
