Solution (Final Part) - Season 2

Blood, fear… Dogday crawled through the grass as he saw one of his severed fingers. The boy looked ahead and saw Hoppy also crying, screaming in pain. The man in the suit was pressing a knife into the girl's calf, the knife piercing through to the other side of her leg.

— That's funny, I thought you'd be stronger than that, but I was wrong. A simple knife has already caused you enough trouble…- He moved the blade, drawing more screams from the rabbit.

— Who… who are you?- Hoppy said, gritting her teeth in anger.

— It doesn't matter who I am, I just need to take you, and I see it'll be easy.

A light blinded his vision. Hoppy even looked with difficulty. The light came from Dogday. The dog had tears in his eyes, eyes that showed rage, teeth gnashing with bared fangs, fists clenched with claws drawing blood from his palms.

The boy quickly drew an arc of light and shot a beam at the man, who dodged it, throwing himself aside. Dogday stepped forward and helped Hoppy, removing the knife and using healing magic. Hoppy was later able to do it herself. It hurt; the rabbit leaned against the trunk, and the healing magic made her feel even more pain, but it was what she had.

— This time I see... you're the kind Simon and Poe warned me about. You kidnap for money, do whatever you want, and don't care about anyone... scum, trash... this is the first time I've said this, I hate you! — He advanced at a speed close to the speed of sound almost instantly.

"The kid didn't even let me answer, but he's not wrong..." the man thought.

Just as Nathan demonstrated, Dogday led his enemy into the forest. He used his speed and light mirrors to pass through the trees without much trouble. He used beams of light that pursued the man at a relatively high speed.

The man in the suit dodged and parried most of the blows. There was a moment when he stopped. Dogday appeared with several light copies of himself, approaching, summoning his sword, and attacking them all at once. The blow was standardized, and the man was able to defend himself, crouching and using a knife to parry the blow, but this was intentional.

Dogday appeared in front of him and punched him in the jaw, throwing him into the air. The man with the knife created an iron platform and floated. Dogday floated up and stared at him.

— You're carbon, you control iron... except for the knife you carry, it's real, — Dogday commented.

— You have a surgical eye, I like it. Who trained you, Nathanael? — the man asked, creating iron daggers.

— Exactly him… — He created two spheres of light and fused them together in the air.

Then he threw it toward the enemy, who tried to cut the sphere but failed, and the knife broke. The man created an iron shield, which he then transformed into a barbed wire mesh. He threw it toward Dogday, failing in his attempt but causing a slight cut on the puppy's cheek.

Far away, Hoppy was already on her feet. Her regeneration wasn't great, but it was enough.

— Like that…- Feet together, knees apart, arms open wide. — The energy within… — she began to scream.

Her scream grew louder and louder. A vibration in the air was felt. The surrounding animals backed away. The man didn't flinch, simply looking back with a mirrored iron.

— Haha, now you're screwed... but since dad's not here... I can tell you're screwed!! — she smiled in the background.

Hoppy floated with the emanation of her power, green electrical energy flowing like a flame around her body. Her body glowed, as if made of her power. Then she advanced with a sonic boom.

Grabbing the man by the arm, he spun around quickly and slammed him into the ground amidst the trees. His arm and the side of his stomach were pierced by branches, but above, Hoppy summoned a pair of lightning bolts drawn from the clouds.

"This girl isn't just any girl, that lightning bolt is natural!! I'm going to die!" he thought, hurrying to run away, using a regeneration spell.

— Dolly!?!? — the man shouted.

Hoppy launched the lightning bolt toward the enemy, blasting the ground and the surrounding area, leaving a crater. Dust rose and nothing was visible. Hoppy held out hope, and Dogday watched to see if he was defeated.

— Funny... they gave the strongest to the weakest, and the weakest to the strongest. Seriously, she's a little screw up, — said the strange girl, now wearing a long dress with wide sleeves, retaining the star pattern.

Dolly had made a temporary shield that shattered when the rabbit struck, but that was all it took for her to grab it and run away with her ally, healing and regenerating him immediately. Hoppy's blow burned him, and the pieces of earth ripped off his arm, one of his legs, and tore a hole in his chest.

"Who is she? I sense something strange coming from her..." Hoppy thought, watching from above. His body stopped glowing. "Or else..."

The rabbit startled, Dolly was now face to face with the girl... Hoppy rolled her eyes and fainted, being caught by the human and quickly teleported away;

— Strong indeed, but not like me. — Looking away, she quickly appeared in front of him, but the boy didn't faint.

The boy saw an opening and immediately attacked. With his sword, he decapitated the girl. She stepped back, grabbed the head, and put it back in place. Dogday raised the labyrinth of light and, to avoid danger, created light clones and tried to advance.

Dolly took a strange artifact from the pocket of her dress, a medallion with an asterisk embedded in the iron. She raised it high, and the object emanated a strange energy, which dismantled and absorbed Dogday's light constructs.

The boy was scared, his power was fading before his eyes. He tried to conjure something but failed. That artifact wasn't just absorbing whatever was in the field, it was absorbing it directly from the source as well.

"What is this? How... how can she do this? Who are they? My power... my power is being absorbed by that thing... what's happening?"

Dogday thought as he slowly passed out as his magic was being completely drained. Dolly, that strange girl, was smiling and even waved to the boy who was falling to the ground.
