Dogday wakes up, calm but with a tired look. The string on his wrist is broken, and the girls are missing. He sighs, makes the bed, and walks out of the room. He stops before holding his necklace. He closes the door and stays inside.
He extended his hand forward, palm down, and beneath it appeared light, growing larger and larger, taking shape and growing brighter. The light took the form of a sword, a simple one without much of a distinctive shape, like a simple wooden sword.
He looked, analyzed and even shook her;
“Strange… but is that my power? I generate and manipulate light… he only generated it, he didn’t control it,” he thought, still observing the form of light.
Dogday undid it and soon left the room, grabbing his toothbrush and heading to the bathroom, he greeted all four of them on the way, saying good morning to them.
— Tell me, Dogday, what was it like sleeping here? Or rather... among them? — Kickin said as he buttered his bread, chuckling lightly in between.
— It wasn't exactly in the middle, but, hehe, what can I say? But I slept well, Hoppy's arms, as muscular as they are, are much softer than the pillows!
— I'll tell you — interrupted the rabbit — these little arms hurt, but they also comfort! — she said, smiling.
Crafty agreed.
— So, would you like to make something? — Kickin asked, pecking at the bread.
The girls looked at their father in confusion, he never asks what they would like to do that day.
— I don't know... walk around? I have no idea what to really do, and staying out seems like a good idea — he stirred his breakfast, scrambled eggs.
— So girls, do you think it would be a good idea for us to go for a walk? — asked the chicken.
Hoppy smiled and said yes, all excited and emanating energy, Crafty was indifferent, but agreed to spend some time outside.
Sure enough, after breakfast, everyone went to the bathroom to shower together so as not to waste too much time. Even seeing the girls showering, Dogday didn't react any differently than usual… he didn't blush or pretend to faint.
“He’s acting strange… looking at the floor, taking a calming bath without playing around with throwing water at others, that conversation really affected him” thought Crafty who, even though he was having fun with his father and sister, noticed Dogday’s behavior “I can’t even say otherwise, I’m not feeling very well either…”
After bathing, they got ready, put on clothes, and sprayed on some perfume. The boy was still lost in thought, staring at the floor as he pulled on his clothes—shorts and a tank top. Hoppy noticed this, and his smile faded for a brief moment.
She approached Dogday, lifted his face and gave him a kiss... not on the cheek, but straight on the mouth; the boy's eyes widened and he was instantly embarrassed, he stood there frozen for a while.
Kickin viu to dinner;
— Girl!! That kid has teeth! — Kickin said in astonishment.
— Hehehe… I have bigger ones! — he smiled and showed his really big front teeth — now come on, Crafty, wake up the bone gnawer.
— Don't do that to him, you'll be sleeping with him in your arms soon! — Kickin said, flustered, as he headed for the door.
— And of course... surrounded by puppies!"
Hoppy laughs and heads for the door, and Crafty approaches Dogday and nudges him;
— Hey… are you okay? — the girl asked calmly.
