Escape (Part 2) - Season 2

The shadow-blended cat retaliated against the soldiers, using shadow tentacles, rarely using its hands made of darkness. A shootout broke out, driving away many of the runners, except for the undercover officers.

Catnap was unaffected by the projectiles; even flashbang grenades were used, but they had no effect. The new feline creature began to flee, climbing a building, and entering an apartment.

— Mom!? I got the star! — the apartment belonged to Bobby, he walked in with the star in his hand — take it!

— Wow! It worked! Now we have to run — Bobby said with a smile on her face. She approached her son and took the star. — Now we have to run, I heard the shots.

— Okay, now don't worry! — He took the star back, put the bear in a headlock, and placed a shadowy hand on her neck.

Moments later, the police broke down the door and surrounded the two. There was some negotiation, but the plan was simple: find a gap and escape. He finds this gap in the formation and quickly advances to the door, disappearing within seconds. The officers mobilized quickly, and one of them stayed to console Bobby.

His mistake, the bear snapped his neck and got up. Catnap had left a brief message for her. She grabbed her car keys and ran to the garage. There, she started the Bugatti with its electric motors and drove out of the parking lot.
Outside, the cat fought with claws and teeth, killing each soldier with a few blows, they didn't understand why none of the weapons were working against him, so they decided to call the police officer, Bubba Bubaphant.
It wasn't long before the elephant emerged from its home. Strangely, it did so while floating. It wore a necklace that resembled a light bulb, and it was on. The officer quickly approached and summoned a blue missile, throwing it at the half-shadow cat.

— Ah… so it was you — said Bubba landing on the ground, seeing Catnap come out unharmed from the explosion — obviously you would be better than that.

— Ah… Bubba Bubaphant, what a pleasure! — said Ten's side — but don't think you'll make it, not now.

A car noise is heard, coming at high speed and only getting louder. Bubba looks back and sees the headlights of the Bugatti, which had no intention of hitting him. As the vehicle passes him, Catnap clings to the car and is swept away.

— Shit! — Bubba grumbled.

Amidst the high speed, mother and son talked. Bobby wanted the star, and Catnap gave it to him, throwing it into the passenger seat. The bear slammed her foot on the accelerator and disappeared at over four hundred kilometers per hour, the cat fell behind, and Dez returned full control to the cat.

— I take good care of this body… I'll make it worth it — Catnap's skull regenerated, leaving a huge scar, even his eye was marked.

— I think this better work — he looked at an alley, and in it a car.

The sirens of the police cars could be heard from a good distance, Catnap was waiting for the officers in his car, the Hellcat had received an aggressive body kit, including a spoiler and larger wheels.

The car had changed, now it was completely black and with strange designs, carbon fiber, even the wheels were like that, the sound of the engine was no longer that of a V8, it was higher-pitched and the turbos completed the finer symphony.

Bubba wondered why he was standing there. The car window was open, and the purple feline was staring at him with a serious look. It didn't take long for him to pull away, turning into an alley. The elephant gave orders to the others while the driver of his patrol car followed the Dodge.

Inside, everything had changed, there was nothing but the driver's seat and the steering wheel with the paddle shifters, and some buttons, around three, one green, one yellow and one red.
