Changed mostly everything in this Chapter. It's way better now, and longer too.

Enjoy :-)

Ray -

I walk into the living room giving myself a tour of the small house. Might as well keep myself entertained for the rest of the day; I'm not trying to bond with tangles. I examined the baby pictures of uh, Jacob? I think that's what his family calls him.

He was put in different positions, with different costumes on. The pictures were hung neatly along the wide, white wall. There was also a handmade wooden table with more pictures; they were of him and his mom, Teresa. I rubbed my thumb across the clear shield, wiping the little dust particles from it.

He was actually kind of cute when he was a baby, most babies are, and his mom isn't bad looking herself. I search around the house more. Nothing really fancy, plain dinner table sheets with pictures and little prayer sayings printed on them.

They must be religious. Fake plastic fruit sat in the middle of the table and a glass ruffle vase with also fake flowers; sunflowers to be exact.

I began to walk back to the room when an old cracky voice called out, "Ohh Jacob Pooh, I've missed you sweety pie, come here and let me pinch those chubby cheeks." I turned around suddenly, I saw an old lady speed walking towards me with a curved black rubbery cane, swinging it in the air.

Aw hell no. It's the granny. The lady I had a feeling that I wouldn't like. "Give Nana a kissy-kissy mwah."

She forcefully gripped my face with both wrinkly shaky hands, pulling me to her face. "Don't fight these lips, I haven't seen you all day, give nana a sweet juicy kiss!"

"Oh lady, can you like not, get off of me!" I tried pushing her off gently so I won't break her old ass.

"I'm not Jacob! Okay?" She wouldn't listen. She kept trying to plant one on me. I go for older women, but not that old.

I then here a familiar annoying voice that pisses me off every time I hear it. Jacobs' voice, "Haha, nana get your glasses fixed, I'm over here, that's my new brother." He lightly hopped with excitement. I don't mean to burst his bubble or fantasy world, but I am not his fucking brother.

"STEP-brother! And we're not even that."

"Yet."

"I'll never be your brother..." I stated.

His face dropped from that charming smile, into a depressed frown. I honestly don't care how he feels, I'm not this fools' brother. I have my real brothers and family back in East Atlanta. This is temporary, I give it five months.

My dad won't propose. I glanced back at Jacob, he looked hurt, like I just crusted his dreams or something. He'll get over it. Buy him a puppy, he'll be fine.

"I always wanted a brother.." He mumbled loudly just so I could hear. That not pulling on my heartstrings, but good one. He began to walk back into his room with his head hung down.

"Why don't you go on craigslist, there's plenty of brothers you can get from there!" I shouted back at him. Damn the dudes depressed.

He should take my advice into consideration. I looked back at the grandma, she was giving me this.. Interesting smile.. Wonder what's up with her.

"Ray, Jacob, dinners ready," Teresa called out from down the hall.

I was laying down on the bed, hoping and wishing that I would open my eyes and be laying in my own bed at my old house. This all feels, so fake. Maybe just a bad dream.
