Four skewered fish slowly cooked over the fireplace. The kids talked with Kite, getting more information on him and his connection with Gons father. Killua was still skeptical about him. Especially with the missing fish. There's five of them, so why is there only four fish?

It also didn't help how Wanderer and Nahida moved up to a tree branch above them. Killua couldn't hear their talk, so he focused on Kite, and his friendly smile.

"So." Wanderer turned the card in his hand. Seeing the soft painting of three shooting stars descending onto a land with a giant tree.

"This card, will bring us home if you say the magic word?"

Nahida nodded while gently swaying her feet. "Not only that, but it seems we can't go back after using it."

He frowned and turned to her. The arm holding the card over his lifted knee, the foot resting on the branch they sat on. "Really?"

Wanderer glanced at Kite, who spoke softly. Whatever he said, had the kids entranced with excitement. "We can't take them?"

Nahida giggled, the sound enough to make him realize he had slipped up.

"Sadly not. But, I understand."

She looked down, at the smiling Gon and giggling Killua. "I would also love to bring them home. However."

Nahida turned to him. Wanderer had almost forgotten how much he missed the soft look in her eyes whenever she gave him advice. "Sumeru is not their home. But this world, is."

Kite leaned back, telling more stories that fueled the kid's excitement.

"What if..." Wanderer glanced at her. His tone was rather serious for what he said. "They were from Teyvat? What kinds of lives would they have?"

Nahida paused, her head instantly filled with ideas. "Well, I think Leorio would study at the Akademiya."

"That much is obvious." Wanderer smiled faintly. "What about Kurapika? Would he also be a child of wisdom?"

She laughed gleefully. "I sure hope so! I would love to see all of them grow up."

"Grow?" Wanderer scoffed. "You sound old saying that."

"I am old." Nahida grinned at him with her eyes closed. "Time makes us wiser. There's no reason to be ashamed of my age."

He rolled his eyes and gestured to Kite. "What about him? Would he be with that fox?"

"You mean Tighnari?" Nahida hummed in thought. "Maybe. I think they would get along well."

"Gon and the broke blond would be inseparable."

Nahida giggled and swayed her feet joyfully. "Yes. Kaveh and Gon would be interesting. Maybe, Gon would save him some money? Gon does have great intuition."

"Maybe." Wanderer moved to lay on his side, talking with his eyes closed. "Killua and Cyno. Now that's a duo."

"Killua would hate his jokes."

"You're the only one capable of liking those."

With a soft laugh, Wanderer felt her move back. Before leaning onto his side. "They're buried treasure! Kite would understand."

"Right." Wanderer smiled slightly. "The two old people."

"Do you think Kite and I would be mistaken as siblings?"

"Nah. If anything, he's your dad."

Nahida chuckled and shook her head while hugging her knee's close. "Hmm. I don't think he would mind."
