"Lady Asten, we've arrived." A guard's voice woke me up.

"Have we really?" I yawned, rubbing my eyes.

"This is the place you asked to go to, yes." He replied.

When Aias sent me an envelope, asking for me to meet him here, I wasn't completely clueless as to what would come. It's been a year of knowing Aias, and two months since I told him I was in love with him, and we officially started dating. He did tell me, that night, that he'd like to marry me. And I think, if I had to guess atleast, that this beautiful view was the setting for a marriage proposal. God, I was so happy. Those two months were the happiest, most relaxed of my life. From trips to small countries so we could have a getaway vacation together, to banquets being thrown in our honor, to even spending nights with him - something very frowned upon in this world for nobles and royalty outside of marriage - I've been on cloud nine recently.

I wore a light blue dress, my matching gloves and fan with them. It was nearly november, but in the small kingdom of Alenar, it seemed like summer never ended. That's why my dress was only one layer beside my undergarments. It reminded me a little of Australia, from my previous life.

Not that I ever had gone there, not that I had the funds to do that, but everyone knew how sunny Australia always was.

After ordering my guards to stay back with the horses and carriage, I followed the grass path, admiring the blooming flowers. It was autumn, but here, it felt more like spring and summer.

The path led to a dense wall of vines and tropical leaves. I pushed one out of my way, revealing a beautiful beach. It was near afternoon, and the sun lay on the ocean halfway set.

A picnic mat and basket awaited me, yet Aias was nowhere to be found. The place was tropical, with palm trees surrounding the secluded beach, and a swing was hanging from one of them, overlooking the shore.

I was taking slow steps, admiring the view, when I was swept off my feet from behind, a lively giggle escaping my throat when I realized who it was.

He passed the picnic mat, carrying me into the ocean. "Aias! Stop!" I couldn't stop laughing, and when he dropped me into the water, he was hugging me by my waist, turning me around to face him. I was breathing hard, trying to catch my breath, and he was just fine, despite being the one carrying me.

"Finally alone." Aias kissed my cheek, keeping me on the water's surface.

"What is this all about?" I asked as he raised my higher, as I bent my head to kiss him.

"I got a special question for a special woman." He kissed my neck. "But first, I'm gonna need this off." He decided, fiddling with my corset strings, as he tugged on my dress' sleeves.

We had reached the shore, and he could hover over me freely, as I wrapped my hands around his waist. "I'm gonna need your help with that, Aias.." his eyes darkened at my words, as he bent to kiss my neck.
