When we get to my house, the pain of looking at everything physically hurts. I never noticed how much my mom was present until she was gone. It's as if her spirit never left this place. Quickly, I walk through the hallway to my room. It doesn't look like much, mostly because it isn't. But being here feels like home.

Quickly, I pack my clothes, shoes, pictures, my guitar, the blanket my grandma made for me, my microscopic amount of money, and Holly's things. Corey takes them to the car, and I take one last look at what used to be my home. I feel a hand on my shoulder, and look to see Corey standing behind me.

"You ready to go kiddo?" I take a deep breath and nod.

"Yeah. Let's go."

When we walk out of my apartment, I see Topanga in the front seat of the car.

"What's Topanga doing here?"

"Well we're going to take you shopping. I had Topanga take your things to the house, and now you, me, and Topanga are going shopping. I figured you'd want some new clothes for back to school since you didn't get any because of the wedding."

I get over come with emotion and I give Corey a big hug. "Thank you so much. For everything."

"Of course Maya, we're here for you." I smile up at them as I climb in the backseat of the car, and look out my window as we pass by my old apartment for the last time.
