Susan was moving out of Kane's tent when Kane caught her hand and pulled her back inside
"Ouch. It hurts," she said in pain.
"Lie down," he said.
"What," she asked.
she stared a him with wide eyes not knowing what the crazy guy was talking about.Kane bended her knees and made her to sit down. Susan wondered how he did that and all the other things. He pulled up Susan sleeves. Susan was confused what he was up to.
"What are you doing," she asked in a lower tone.
But there wasn't any reply.
He took a small pot made of mud. He took out some paste made of herbs and started to apply it on her hand.
"It will burn but more it burns the sooner it will get cure," Kane said.
Susan looked at him as water started to roll down her eyes with the burning pain.
"You can't even bare this much pain," he said.
"Why are you doing this," she asked.
"It's none of your concern," he replied.
"Come on how this can't be in my concern. You wounded me and now trying to cure it up,"
"You ask a lot many questions, do you know that?"
"And you don't answer any of those,"
He finished applying the medicines.
"Will you lie in my tent or should I drop you back at yours. But you can't move until the entire medicine is absorbed so... that means you can't walk back to your tent,"
"I will stay here then," Susan replied.
Kane was given a sudden shock by her answer.
Susan gave him a smile. silence apread in tje tent gor some while.
"It has started to rain," Susan said hearing the noice of the rain drops.
"You like to get wet in the rain,"
"Yes I love it,"
"Your bad luck that I'm not going to allow you to do that right now,"
"I wasn't even trying to,"
again the silence spread... they didnt had any think actually to talk about.
kane was constantly looking out of the tent..."The medicine was prepared by sapphire. You would be alright soon," he said... susan could see a small blush on his face.
"Yeah I trust you," she said..."But I need to have a look at that pearl. Till I don't see it, !my mind would not calm down,"
"You can have a look at that tomorrow morning. I would accompany you if you wish too," Kane said.
'You would surely do," she asked surprised.
"Why can't I," he asked.
"No just asking," she said.
"You are not doing right with your friends," he said after some time.
Susan looked at him.
"I know that," she said after some seconds silence,"I hate to do that with them but you know that I don't have any other option,"
"Tyson would be hurt the most," Kane said.
"That irritates me the most. My concentration goes away because of that," Susan replied.
