Kane had not seen Kiara since last night after she had entered back in her room.
She wasn't there during the breakfast or lunch even.
It was already evening
He decided to peek in her room but it was locked and the windows too were shut. There was no way to enter or peek.

The family looked normal at the dinning table. Kiara not being out of her room since morning didn't bothered the family members.

"Isn't Kiara going to have any food. She was absent in the morning and afternoon time too"; Kane asked as he was just not able to avoid it.

"She have already taken eatables in her room"; the granny said as she began to eat.

"Can't I just live for some more time.
I just don't know when next i will be able to meet him...I just don't want to..." Kiara said.
The voice came out from her grannies room.

"It's not me to say or decide. It's your mission overall... I can't do anything. It's your wish... Whatever you do i just hope you don't forget your mission".

"I won't... I will carry out but just a few more days".

Kane heard them speak. The door opened and Kiara saw Kane standing out in front of the door. He was just standing there showing that he was listining to their talks. He actually was just not able to react.

Kiara looked at him. She didn't had her normal smile. She rather had a very weird face as she stared at Kane.

Kiara left from there. That gave Kane his sences back.

"What was all that about"? he thought.

He realized that granny was out there looking at him. He left before she could call out and soon he would require an explanation he could give for eaves dropping.

Kane passed by Kiara's room. The door was locked. He went in front of her window and was able to see her.
He wasn't able to stay close by to the window as she was sitting near the window looking at the bright moon. Few tear drops rolled down.

Kane watched her through a tree.
He was at the same place when he was having a watch the previous night.

Kiara was singing again. Her eyes were closed as she flowed in the song she sang.
The words weren't able to depict the reason of the tears.

She got up and closed the window.

Kane went down and was informed by granny that she had planned a trip for everyone for some enjoyement.
The new comers had not expected that from the granny.
She seemed to be too strict.

Kane looked at Kiara's door. Will she accompany. He doubted.

The next day was the treeking trip.
All were there and were about to leave.
There was no sign of Kiara.
Kane eyes were just waiting to see her.

And there was her cheerful voice apologizing for getting late.
Kane had a smile on his face.
He was happy to see her that way.
He didn't gave much thought about it. He felt himself being happy.

Kiara crossed by. She didn't even looked at him. It was normal. She never always looked but don't know why Kane didn't felt good.
He wondered what was wrong.

There was no elder.
The elders were just Jayson and Shelly.

Kiara was all happy when she was with her cousins but later she started her climb alone. Kane was following her. Instead of hiding he was climbing along side her. She just went on without even greetting him. She was all silent just like the past days. She surely did acted in front of everyone but was not able to anymore. She ignored Kane like he wasn't even present there.
