CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Kane left the hospital. No one noticed him leaving.
Kane decided to go and check on that girl who he was most suspicious. The girl Kelly surely knew a lot about that place. She would surely need to spill out each and everything. There was no way he would leave her without any answers.

He left immediately to reach that place. He reached the bungalow and met the two old couple out there.
He looked around for Kelly but she wasn't there.

"Are you searching for something boy"; the lady asked.

He asked about Kelly.
The two were just silent. Kane got suspicious about their reactions.

"Where is she", he asked standing up.

"Actually we don't know... she doesn't says much about her location to us", the old man said with a smile.

But Kane was no longer going to calm down. He was bursting up with anger.

"She isn't your daughter, am I right?" he said.

The two had a shocking face.

"She is..."

"Stop lying... a girl is at her verge of death... do you know the girl you are trying to hide would be the one responsible for her such condition... and you all are trying to save a murderer... leave about that think about the consequences you both would be able to face just because you are trying to save that girl..." he shouted removing out all the anger and sadness he had.

"Whatever you say child... I know we both won't be able to understand the pain you are facing now but you just can't go accusing anyone out here... yes she is not our daughter but she isn't less then that and we won't allow any outsider to just come an accuse our daughter... go call the police and do what all damn things you wanna do but you just cant frighten us out with those crap things," the old man said.

Kane was speechless. He actually knew he wasn't his real self. But he was just...

Kane apologized knowing his mistake. He left from there before he could do anything else he need to feel sad about later.

He wasn't just in a condition he would be able to control herself. Susan's condition was causing him to not think properly.

He decided to return back.
As he walked back the old man came out and stopped him.

Kane looked at him.
He had a smile.
"She gave this to give it to you. She wasn't there in the house after you all had left. I don't actually have any idea where she was or where she is.
After hours of not being home she at last returned. Her condition wasn't good. She looked all red. She was exhausted. She just handed this thing and asked me to give it to you. I don't know how but she guaranteed that you would come and here you are. She just left after that. We asked her to wait cause she was not in a condition to move. She was feeling unconscious. But she left saying she was busy with things";

"What is this?" Kane asked.

" She had said something... I din't quiet remember...Yes she said it was an antidote or something like that";

Kane was just not able to believe what he heard. He asked again and was given the same reply. He didn't waste any more time there and ran away from that place.

The cost for all the things medicines, the doctors, researchers, the experts and all those stuffs were not at all an issue.
Some people among them were also sent at the place to collect the water samples to test but eventually even after all that they weren't getting even a slightest progress.

Kane had returned back and he handed over the antidote.
All the people were shocked but there wasn't much time for it.
They tested the antidote outside which went on well. Some amount was written on the bottle.
The doctors questioned Kane about it who had no idea about that.
