THE MYSTERY OF THE MISSING PEARL

CHAPTER TWENTY

"Why did she took such a big turn"; Kane thought as he look at her throwing away her bag pack in one corner near her table which was all messy with books.

She got fresh and at last sat with her cell phone. Her room mates had a chat with her. They asked her about her trip to which she informed about Kane and his friends.

"Don't you think she is looking too happy after coming from there"; Sofy one of her room mate said.
She had long pitch black straight hair.
She had a nice tall height with a huge body and a small face with a tiny nose. Her fringes were avoided to fall on her forehead by a headband.
Altogther she looked preety.

"Yes there seems to be"; Fiona said another roommate. She was other very thin with small features.She had long curly dark brown hair, "Tell us what happened".

"There is nothing as you people are thinking"; Kiara replied although she had a blush which she wasn't able to hide.

Kane was enjoying the scene.

"I guess she have started to like someone"; Sofy said.

"Maybe someone from that group who have visited her place"; Fiona said.

"Yes it should be"; Sofy replied.

They were forcing her to tell but she just kept on saying that there wasn't anything. Although the way she blushed was depicting something else.

They had a double seated beds in the room. The top one was of Kiara. She went up. She lied down moving all the mess present in one corner. Her reaction had changed. All the blushings and all dissapeared rather her mood went off. She plugged in her headphones and lied down silently.

Kane doubted that Kiara didn’t knew that he was following her. As Kiara had caught him stalking many a times she should have known quiet well till that time that Kane was following.

She ordered something to eat. The amount of food she ordered was lot for one person. He smiled. The girl actually knew from the start.

There was surely nothing suspicious about her. He had decided that he will wait for aome more time and leave. It wasn't right to stalk her again and again.

He waited outside her hostel having a constant watch at her. The food had arrived. She paid the delivery boy and asked him something giving half of the food. Kane was not able to hear their talks.

Kiara came up with her food. She seemed to be feeling hungry but she kept her food aside and sat with her cell phone.

Kane wondered why wasn't she eating. He noticed the deliver boy in the compound of which building he was waiting.
He went down and took the order. Kiara had already paid for the food.
He thought to appear in front of her the next day. There wasn't any point hiding since she knew about it.

He finish of his dinner and lied down. He was having his things of requirement. He had laid down few traps which woukd signal him if there was any sign of people around. He soon went to sleep seeing Kiara who had slept somewhile ago.

Next day when he got up he found Kiara missing feom her room. He got up and tried to look all over the room. He thought her to be in washroom. He waited for somewhile until he was sure that she wasn't there. Had she already left for her college. It was just 6:30 am. No college would have started so early. The carry bag she had was missing. 

He decided to ask her roomates although he doubt that they knew or not. Kane was the last one to sleep among all of them so there was no point that she got time to inform. She could probably message her roomates later on. But where did she go? She had recently arrived to the college and went missing?

He asked about her to her roommate when she got down for her college introducing hinself as her friends. She said that Kiara went back home.

Kane highly doubted that. She surely didn’t visit the college for a day. He contacted Sapphire to confirm whether Kiara had reached there and his guess was right. She wasn’t there. It would have taken her some time to reach there.

He could have waited and confirmed after some time whether she had arrived or not but he was so sure that she wasn’t going back home. Then where could she be?

Kane wondered what possibly he could do. Where he could go in search of Kiara. He didn’t knew much about the girl to guess out things about her.

She had already planned to go out somewhere and just came out to the college because Kane was following and she didn’t wanted to make him get suspicious.

"Is seriously Kiara planning out something. Her granny was even galking about some mission. What is this family hiding";

If she didn't wanted to make Kane suspicious about her doings then why all of a sudden she went away making his suspicion grew.

There would really be something up behind the scenes. But how could he possibly find out about it.

The main question was what was her mission related too. Was it something related to her family, friend, or to him, or Susan. 

There were zero percent chances of it being about Susan or him. He moatly thought it to be of her family as her granny was back of ber to complete it.

Kane was sitting in Kiara's hostel room thinking about all of this things. He had already looked around the empty room for some signs of where the girl could possibly be. But he found nothing. His thoughts were suddenly distracted when he heard the door open.

He remembered that he was still stuck in a girl's room without anyones notice. He tried to run away from there before the person enters in.

He made it just in time.

He remembered about Kelly…

“What would she probably be doing right now…” he thought, “She had said she would help me out but how is she planning to do so”.

He decided to go to two places one at Kelly's place on that mountain or two Erikas house.

“What should I do first”; he thought.

He atlast decided to go back at Erika's place first. He left imediately.

Kane reached back at Erika's plaace by 6 pm. All were busy doing their work.

Kane met the others and was questioned by Sapphire and Noel where he had been since so long without informing anyone about his wear abouts. And why was he questioning about Kiara…

“No just like that… I had just went on a walk”; he said as he left the place before he could have been questioned about things. He was deep in his thoughts.

“Well was there anything wrong at this place”; Kane asked turning back to face the 4 after he had walked some distance.

“Nope there wasn’t any for us to think upon"; Jayson replied.

Kane took his leave.

The others wondered what was wrong with that guy and what was he upto or was thinking so much about.

He was roaming around in the main building where the family used to stay when he reached up in the terrace room. He noticed the finger print lock. He tried to open it but it won't. The room was sealed up perfectly.

He remembered Sapphire saying that the room belongs to Erika and in that room there was a cupboard  in which Susan's story books were kept separate.

“But there wasn’t any point in keeping them sepearte. If she was just reading those books to know about Susan then... she should have kept it along with the other books… If she was the detective she would have kept it with the remaining books to not get anyone suspicious but eventually she wasn’t... So why were Susan's books only that were kept separate”;
