THE MYSTERY OF THE MISSING PEARL

CHAPTER TWO

Till many days investigation went on and on finding no leads. No idea how each and everything got burned.

The gas containers were found busted. That means they were burned while the fire was on and cause increase in the amount of fire or those places were burnt on the first place at different places to cause the fire.

There was no lead to the investigation and the police assumed it to be an accident and left the case unsolved. Meanwhile the family was leaving at the granny’s brother place. They had a bungalow a huge one so everyone was able to fit in. The massive damage surely would take a lot of time to recover, till then the family tried to find ways to recover their loss. All had a tensed look on their faces which didn’t fade away.

Erika was not able to stay at their place. She was not well adjustable with her cousins. She particularly didn’t like them. They used to trouble her, tease her, and so were the cousins who didn’t like her. She was well going with her big sis named Kiara.

Kiara was the eldest among all the cousins. She had a nice bonding with her cousins and all the family members too. She was much off a silent type with newbie’s. She studied in a hostel too doing dentistry. Her blue eyes suited well with her brown hair.

Erika used to spend her most of the time in the burned building. She used to roam around the entire place checking on the burned machines and stuffs, trying to find out any clue which the police was not able to find…

 One day she saw someone entering through the gate into the small town. The people were headed towards the building where the family used to live.
Erika went out there to check.

There was guy and a girl near the desk on the ground floor. They were looking around at the place. Erika entered in the building and crossed them and stood on the other side of the bench.

“Do you think we are at the right place"; the girl asked looking around totally neglecting Erika standing in front of them.

“Looking at the condition it seems so"; the guy replied. He had a smile which was annoying Erika.

Their conversation made her angrier.

“This place can’t help you out with anything. As you can see the entire place has been destroyed and the machines and the gaming zone, amusement park, the clinic, restaurant anything you want is no more… this place can’t help you. You can leave"; Erika said with a rude tone.

The guy started to move towards Erika. He leaned forward over the desk to get himself a bit closer to Erika.

“We have work from you not from this place…" he said.

 He constantly had a smile on his face but it surely did looked fake.

“My name is Sapphire… we need your help"; the girl said.

Normally while introducing there is a ceremony of hand shake, but the 2 didn’t seem following that one.

The guy kept a photograph in front of Erika. It was of a girl.

“Drew planned a case gift for Bloom in the Blue Blossoming Castle”

“These words will help you out in finding about the girl…” the guy said.

Erika was quiet just listening to what all crap they were speaking about. As the 2 didn’t received any answer, Sapphire signaled the guy to move out and they started to leave.

As they moved towards the door the guy looked back at Erika. She was quiet and was looking as they leave.

“My name is Sam. I was pleased to meet you. I hope you find that girl soon…”
