THE MYSTERY OF THE MISSING PEARL

CHAPTER SEVEN

The helicopter was landed at an open space and they took cab through which they reached a restaurant to fill the cousin's stomach.

The cousins had their stomach full. It was so full that they weren't even able to walk. Sam got a cab for them and they headed to the address they had given.

"Can you wait out? We will come out after we have finish of our work"; Kevin said.

The two agreed and left from there to come back in a while.

Erika rang the bell. A woman opened the door.

She had a confused face.

"We are the people investigating about Susan's case. Kane have hired us. We need to have a talk"; Erika said, "Can we she asked".

The women called them in.

"She is my daughter Daisy. She is Susan's friend"; the women introduced Daisy.

She introduced the cousins to her family.

Their house was a normal one. Not that huge. The cousins decided to have a talk with daisy's dad.

"Yes I was the one who used to give Susan cases to solve in the beginning. She was very talented and surely did progress with a great speed. His father being a lawyer supported her a lot in all her cases. Well my daughter and few of their friends also helped her out but they were just supportive. The main brain was of that girl"; Daisy's father said.

"Were you present that day when your daughter was having a reunion with Susan"; Shawn asked.

"Nope I was at my work"; he replied.

"Okay thank you sir"; Shawn said.

The cousins decided to move from there and talk to his wife.

"Yeah they had a nice party. They were meeting after a very long time. Susan had grown splendidly and so were the others. They were all doing very well in the carriers they had chosen. I was at home that day serving them food and drinks. Susan was happy and there was no sign of any worry or anything that could be troubling her"; Daisy's mother replied.

Cousins came to know that Susan was a girl who was good and kind to others and did made selected friends so there wasn't any point of any of her friend being an enemy.

Now even they were thinking that maybe her kidnapping was probably related to the robbers group. But what do they need. Were they only trying to take revenge or are thinking of some more robberies and think Susan in their way or maybe there is something more to it.

They went to talk to Daisy.

"We had enjoyed a lot that day. She left with others. she was going to drop them back to their home and then head back to her house... but then later I received the call from her mother the next day asking whether she was at my place or not. I replied in negative and said that she had already left the previous day. That thing made us all worried. We tried contacting her but her cell was out of reach. Her car wasn't found out. There was no sign of Susan. We checked on the security cameras on the roads but were not able to find her. She probably had gone somewhere where there were no cameras. She liked to roam out. Maybe that day she did the same and then she was missing. Her car wasn't found nor her cell"; Daisy said.

The cousins listened to her talk carefully and decided to leave.

They came out and found Sam and Sapphire waiting for them.

"Were you out here visiting or doing something else"; Sapphire asked.

"We just came to meet one of our friend"; Loren said.
