THE MYSTERY OF THE MISSING PEARL

CHAPTER TWENTY SIX

Kane was sitting at the bridge watching the wave's splash on the shore. It was Susan's favorite spot.

He remembered the scene he had seen earlier. The shock he had recieved after looking at the glimse of the two people.

"Brother"; he said with a short smile,
"Was it a dream"; he wondered.

He knew it wasn't. He was at last able to recognize Kelly.

"When did she contacted you and how"; he asked looking at the waves.
He turned her face to his right and saw straight in the girl's eye's who sat righy next to him. The girl had a smile as she stared back at him.

"It seem's I can't surprise you much by my sudden appearance"; Kelly said.

"Yeah you can't use my own moves against me";

Kelly started to reveal about the past incidence's.
Kelly had heard about the massive robbery thay had been taking place in different part's. She had kept herself in touch with the happening's.

"I saw you and your girl friend already solving the case"; she said with a smile.

Kane's head was down.

"I'm sorry"; he said.

"Come on... chill out. I won't ask so much of you..."; she said in a cheerful voice; "I won't ask you to wait so long"; her voice went soft.

Kelly had been following the group as they solved the case. When at last in the end when the case was at last solved and the scuba divers were captured with the treasure Kelly was caught following by Susan.

"I was careless to let her see me"; Kelly said.

"You did that on purpose"; Kane said, "I know you quite well";

Kelly smiled.

"Yeah you are right. I knew that treasure won't be safe... And who would have taken all that trouble to search the treasure again";

"So you asked her to lend the treaure to you to safe guard it"; Kane asked.

"Nope. It was quite the opposite. The treaure was lend to me to safe guard it"; Lora said.

When Susan saw someone having a watch at them she cautiously tried to capture but her speed was in no match to Kelly's. When they were at a distance away from the other's Kelly showed herself.

"Who are you and ehy had you been following"; Susan asked.

Kelly smiled and revealed herself to be the famous anonymous detective the world know about. Susan believed the girl when she was told how Kelly had been following the group and specially her and Kane without them having a slightest idea about it. All the moments, their personal ones, as well were all bought in words by Kelly.

Susan was shocked but she believed the girl. It wans't just by the information she provided, it was also because Susan was getting an intution of trusting the girl.

"I don't think the treasure is going to be safe in it's respective place until the main robbers are roaming out freely"; Susan said.

"I assure it to you that the treasure's aren't going to safe"; Kelly said.

"Will you take them away"; Susan asked.

Kelly looked a the girl.
"Isn't that the reason you have showed yourself up"; Susan asked.

"You are quite a smart one but..."; Kelly said.

"But what...";

"It's upto you. The case initially have been started by you and you have yourself solved half of it. So its up to you to decide what you want to do to keep the treasure safe. Let it return to its orignal location or trust someone unknown when you have taken so much effort to get it. If I betrayed all your effort's will go in vain";

"When did you solve the case"; Susan asked.

"Quite some time ago";

"How long";

Kelly smiled at the way of her interogation. She kinda liked her way.

"When you reached here with the gang of criminals... I can say before that... Actually when Kane and the other's had noticed the change in the water current's and informed it to you. Mean while until you showed up here I investigated the place, found the treasure, the culprits...";

"That means you had been following Kane and the other's since before... What's your connection with him";

"That's a long story and it's not a nice time to say about that. Well for your information I know them all and since a very long time. Well let's get back to buisness. So what have you decided";

Susan was silent and her silne continued for long until Kelly turned around and started to walj away with her hand waving.

"Good day"; Kelly spoke and walked away when she was ordered to stop.

Kelly stopped and turnes aroind to find Susan near her.

"I request you to take the treasure along with you and keep it safe until the main culprit's are not caught";

"What woul I get by accpeting your request";

"You aren't a person to accept request's for things";

Kelly smiled; "Get the treasure at some place saying you will take charge. I will take care of it from there"; Kelly said and dissapeared.

Susan was shocked for somewhile for the sudden happening's.
She had accepted everything the girl wanted her too without even her asking for it.

She joined the other's wondering whether to trust the girl or not. She didn't had taken any contact number from the unknown girl to contact her.
Things were confusing and she was tired. She decided to think about thing's lateron.

Eventually Susan took incharge. In the closed place where she alone had a watch at the treaure Kelly appeared along with a guy.

Susan was shocked for a second. The guy resembled so much like Kane.

"Thank's for trusting"; Kelly said and dissapeared with the guy and all the treasure dissapeared too.

Susan was yet in shock with the similaritie's of the guy with Kane and in mean while the entire treasure which the policemen's had taken two hours to get there had dissapeared in a second's time.

Susan returned back not revealing about the happening's to a single soul not even Kane. She just hoped ghat the girl was one to be trusted and she did the right choice hading it over to her.

The days went cool, calm, peacefull, happening for Susan. Soon Kane left for his mission and some while later Susan was kidnapped.
