THE MYSTERY OF THE MISSING PEARL

CHAPTER SIX

Erika was a bit nervous seeing Sam a bit close to her.

“Are you all right"; Sam asked again seeing her not acting normally.

“Yes I’m"; She said trying to get back her concentration.

”Is that really Kane… that rude guy… he is really smiling… I thing the picture is a dubbed one"; Erika said.

“No it’s not a dubbed one…I can assure you that"; Sam said with a smile, “Even I wouldn’t have believed it as I myself haven’t seen him smiling but as per the rumors they say that he used to smile while he used to be with Susan"; Sam said.

Their discussion ended when John came up, “If your romantic talks are done then can we pay little more attention to our search".

“It’s nothing like that"; she shouted.

Sam decided to not interfere in their talks and left the place.

“Why did you say like that"; Erika shouted at him after Sam had left.

“Don’t tell me you don’t like him".

“Whatever it is, it is none of your business and who told you I like him, and who gave you the right to talk nonsense in front of anyone…”

“You just try to find ways for not working"; John said and left from there.

“I seriously hate this guy…why the hell did he came out here"; Erika said to herself angrily.

She tried to calm herself and remove out the embarrassing feeling which she was having at that moment. She went on with the remaining search of the room but she wasn’t able to concentrate.

She went to meet the others. She wasn’t, much interested in seeing John's face but that wasn’t the important thing at that particular moment.

The others were also done with their search. Everyone told about their find outs. There was nothing much in the house. There were photographs of Susan with her family and Kane, and her friends. Sapphire and Sam told them the unidentified photos identity in which one was Drew, and then there were even pictures with Tyson’s friends who were caught.

There were many valuable things in the house which showed that Susan was surely rich. The girl didn’t had any collecting hobbies but did paintings and was even good in singing and had won in various competitions in whichever school she attended for a temporary period during the cases. The certificates and trophies of different schools of same grade, smaller or higher grades present in the house proved that.

“How nice it is to be in whichever grade you like…” Loren said.

“Yeah so you guys would directly go up to the highest grade bunking all the middle ones"; Erika said.

“What about you"; Loren asked.

“Well even I will do that of course"; Erika said. 

“Susan was also good in acting and as she was such a good detective means she was also a skilled one"; Kevin said.

“Let’s go and have a chat with her mother. We will surely come to know more about her"; Erika said.

The others agreed to it and headed straight in.

Erika went in the kitchen where Susan’s mother was busy baking up something. It seemed like cookies.

“I hope you all like chocolate cookies"; she asked.

“Of course aunty chocolate is all time preferable for us"; Erika replied.

“That’s great. Susan even like chocolates and stuffs of chocolates a lot".

There was bit silence in the room. While saying that sentence Susan’s mother was a bit silent but before any of the cousins could have said anything her mood cheered up.
