THE MYSTERY OF THE MISSING PEARL

CHAPTER TEN

  As they headed further they realized that the oxygen supply was down.

“How is this possible”; Sappphire asked shocked.

There was something wrong. That was for sure.

“Was the tank leaking?” Jayson thought.

But no it wasn’t.

“We actually travelled out more distance… the passage is bigger… don’t know how but it is”; Kane said.

“It seems that we are on the right track”; Sam said.

“Lets hope so”; Noel said.

They decided to head fast before their oxygen supply get over.

They moved on and on but the way was just not ending up.

“How is this route getting on longer… they could just not increase the size of the tunnel… then whats wrong… what am I missing”; Kane thought.

“We have taken a different turn. The other turn was locked”; Noel said making kane shocked.

He looked at him…

“That dumb head seriously came up with that”; Kane thought surprised. but he knew there wasnt much to be surprised off, “But where did we take the wrong turn”.

No one had any idea. They could have taken anywhere.

There was no way they could have returned to check which way was the right one. Nor they had any oxygen supply left to go back and change their tanks.

They headed ahead as fast as they could.

There were still lights in the tunnel and the tunnel continued on and on in the same zigzag manner like it had since 4 hours.  

The group was losing on their hopes to be able to complete the tunnel in time.

“I wont ever give up”; Noel shouted as he ran further with his full speed. Others also followed.

They saw a gate in front of them.

“Have we reached”; was the only thing in everyones mind.

They reached the place. Noel was first to reach there. Without wasting any further second he formed the light ball and on his hand and gave a hit on the door. It opened up in first shot.

He surely had gone powerfull in this few moths time. But not only him others too.

Strength wise Sam was no match for them. He knew that and so wanted to match up to their levels.

They crossed the area and to their luck there was no water up ahead. Their oxygen supply still remained but not much. It seemed they had reached perfectly on time.

  They headed forward. It was a long dark way. Each of them had their own torches along and they headed on and on. This way was also like a never ending way.

Many had thought till then that the place was just to make them wonder around.

They went on and on in the never ending passage. At few places there were some amount of water but not much. The place where they moved on wasn't that well made… it was just a run away passage... a passage made just by digging up

Time passed by. It had already passed mid night. The cousins worried about others. There was no sign of them… no message at all.

They had returned back to Hannah till evening finishing of their unsuccessful search.

Hannah also worried as it was that late. They decided to go again and check at the ventilators place.

They headed out dividing in groups. They looked through the ventilators and found them absent at the rooms which leaded through the ventilators. In the last they went to the bungalow that the last passage led too but they were even not present there.
