Chapter 125 Part 2: Meeting the Caretakers

Onto Part 2 

In the Dragon Sanctum of Camp Everfree, we see Oras in his room. He was having a chat with the other caretakers.

Oras: You all feel it, too. Don't you?

He was looking at a screen where Sabine, Azmuth, Quarris, and Lady Hydrox were. 

Sabine: Yes. I feel as if Vognos is one step closer to achieving what is his.

Azmuth: He's becoming stronger by the minute, and he's nearly destroyed every bit of the children of Adenus.

Oras: Correct. Vognos grows more and more by the day. His power just keeps getting stronger. Every day, I fear the worst could happen. But this is something that should not be feared.

Quarris: Do you think he's ready? I mean, he still hasn't unlocked the heart yet.

Oras looks away for a moment.

Oras: I do believe that he has some strength in him, but he needs help. I've been feeling that Vognos has been trying to get inside of his head. 

Sabine: Knowing many of the descendants beforehand, this has happened before. 

Azmuth: Vognos shows them what the future would look like when he draws closer to resurection. 

Lady Hydrox: But young (Y/N) shows no remorse or resolve. He continues to fight.

Oras: With many allies by his side at best. 

Quarris: But you fear that it won't be enough, right?

Oras looks away briefly again. Then back to the others.

Oras: I do believe that he has high spirits, and he has good intentions. But that alone won't stop him from getting the trust heart.

Azmuth: So, what do you suggest that we do?

Oras: We bring him to us. We help him unlock the trust heart. (Y/N) We need him more than ever if we are all able to defeat Vognos.

The others nod in agreement.

Oras: I'll have someone go look for him, and tell him to come back to the Dragon Sanctum. From here, we will complete the ritual, and (Y/N) will have the trust heart in his hands.

Quarris: I'd reckon that we meet at Adenus's temple. The ritual could only be completed there if I recall.

Sabine: Correct. The ritual was always at Adenus's temple. I suggest that we head there.

Oras: Understood. I'll let my ally know where to bring him.

The others nod, then they hang up. Oras then looks at the Foreverwing Dragon outside, and he can see the fear in the dragon's eyes. 

Oras: (quietly) Doomsday is upon us soon, but... there is still hope... for our world.

The next day, at home, you were resting in bed. The nightmares that you've been having were getting worse, but your girlfriends were always there to help. Whenever you would see this dystopian future of Vognos winning the battle, it would frighten you. But you knew that you weren't going to be alone in all of this. 

Anyway, it was just a normal day of relaxing and studying for finals. You were in your room preparing for some exams, like history, calculus, and physics. It was a lot of studying, but you did not have any problem with it, thanks to your dragon intelligence. You were able to pick it up right away. Since you had it all figured out, you decided to rest for a bit. As you were resting, you hear someone coming upstairs into your room. The door opens, and it was Sunset at the door.
